The apartment I stayed in had a shared bathroom with others. It would be better if each bedroom had a private bathroom, otherwise.

The apartment itself is centrally located and just 1-2 minutes from Central Bus and Train Stations, a 15-minute walk from the city centre. The room is clean and quiet, right on the other side of the main road.

It was expensive for what you get, and owner wasn’t particularly friendly.

The room is very clean with good wifi and very comfortable bed. The shared shower is large.

Older facade on the building, Soviet style hall stairway up to the room.Rooms much nicer than the building looks.

Quiet because there were few other guests.Not sure how it would be otherwise.Good air conditioner,bedding.We could not get a private bathroom so fortunately no one else shared it.Very clean.Great for an arrival/departure by bus or train.Within sight of both stations right at the metro that comes from the airport.

I stayed in triple room which faced the main road and I got no sleep until the trams stopped running around midnight. Despite the windows being closed, the noise was still too load to sleep. No facility to make a coffee in the morning. Arriving at the guest house one could easily wonder what you had gotten yourself in for as looked very bad but once inside room was OK. Just don't expect the Ritz, it is a place to stay before a bus/train trip and that's it.

One would really only stay here for ease of getting to the Central Bus Station which is directly across the road, couldn't be more convenient. The lady on the desk doesn't speak English but she was very pleasant. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and room had a TV with one or two English channels. Right next door to casino if you wanted a bit of a flutter.

The shower was not separately enclosed but part of the bathroom itself....this is not an isolated incident for us in Sofia however.

Our room was very clean, comfortable, and had good lighting. The TV was small, but cable/satellite TV was available. It is also situated just a few metres away from the Sofia central train and bus stations, so for those needing to travel by either, the location cannot be better - in fact, for those inclined to walk, it's also not too far away from the city centre - around 40mins. or so. And of course much quicker by other modes of transport like tram or metro, which are both easily accessible.

Even though we arrived late at night, we were met and accommodated by the host. Everything was exactly as discussed before arrival, the host answered all our questions promptly. The location is very convenient for the coach station and the train station. The room is clean and the mattresses comfortable. There is an air con which was life saving in the heat (and a fridge if needed). Perfect for our one night stay in Sofia.
