One of the 2 rooms we had was really, really hot and the windows don't open fully, so it was an uncomfortable night Also, the bath doesn't really look like from a 4 star hotel. Maybe change those bathtubs, guys

The QR code for room service didn't work. I ordered some meals and I called the restaurant in 30-40 mins only to be told that my order wasn't received and it is too late to order.

It is marketed as a spa hotel. Don’t be fooled, it is not! Months before our trip, we picked this hotel for the swimming pool/spa facilities, as we like to travel near our house for relaxation. After reading some reviews, few days before leaving, I wrote the hotel asking about pool availability. They were kind to call and explain that it is out of service, but, to compensate this, they offer us one free entrance to the sauna, and a 20% off at a dinner at other restaurant they have in the city center. When we arrived, I asked again about the pool, they promised that it will be available in 2 days time. We spent 5 days, no pool available, the water was in, but they wait for it to worm up, as there is no heating system for water. Useless to say, instead of enjoying a poll/spa vacation, we only went to sauna once in 5 days. It was raining almost all the time, but we preferred to walk around Ruse, though we know the city very well. It was a huge disappointment! We felt like in a communist hotel in Romania in the 80s, it was not very clean, the breakfast area changed every day, the hotel is full of plastic plants, like a plastic botanical garden. :( Also, we tried twice to order food in the room. First night, we called after 2 hours from ordering online. They did not see the order, because they had a big party in the hotel restaurant. They were nice, asked for 50 min delay, and gifted a bottle of wine for our pacience, which we appreciated. Second night, we again ordered online, as is the only way, after 30 min I called Reception. Later I received a call from restaurant asking us to order from their restaurant in the city center, as they are very busy with another party. Needless to say, the site they recommend to order from was only in Bulgarian. We ordered from other restaurant that had an English menu.

It is close to city center, easy to walk around. The rooms had centralized heating, we never felt cold. Decent sauna, both dry and wet, but you have to pay for accessing it. Breakfast was decent, with eggs, sandwiches and fresh vegetables.

I had a lack of water around 11 o'clock, which made it impossible for me to clean my body (but I think it was not strictly a problem of the hotel). Breakfast is ok (it would be ideal for the omelet to be hot, not cold). The coffee machine was broken (but they brought us coffee from the bar and it was ok). I would change the type of juice (the orange one was little and not very good to taste). At the pool, the water is very cold (perhaps the temperature should be changed by 3-4 degrees, especially when there are customers).

The hotel is extremely well located (in the center with shops and the museum of history and the nearby park). It is very well maintained, very clean and the reception staff is kind and speaks good English. I really appreciated the massage therapist and the quality of the massage (thank you!). The room heats up extremely quickly and there is a well-stocked mini-fridge. Extraordinary sauna, so it's a plus. As a general conclusion, we liked the hotel and it is the fourth time we return to this hotel in Ruse. THANK YOU very much for the hospitality!

I chose this hotel because of the pool; however, the pool was not working, and no one informed me about it until I arrived at the hotel. It would have been sufficient if someone had simply notified me via message before my arrival that the pool was out of service, as it wasn’t an unforeseen malfunction but a renovation that was surely planned and started earlier.

The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was quite good. The location is great, close to the pedestrian zone, right in the city centre. The property has its private parking garage, which is charged additionally, but it is possible to park nearby for free.

The room could have been cleaner. It was a bit messy, with noticeably dirty doors and some other areas that needed attention.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The outdoor pool and bar are lovely and well-maintained. The hotel provided towels and robes for both the pool and spa, which was a nice touch. The gym is very well-equipped, offering everything you need for a good workout. The receptionists were friendly and spoke excellent English.

Some walls had their paint peeling off and there were multiple stains on the carpet.

1. The jacuzzi wasn’t working and it actually hasn’t been functioning for quite a while. One of the reasons we chose the hotel was the jacuzzi. 2. The room was nice but dusty. 3. The walls were scratched-partly on the bed side and clothes hanger. 4. The hotel restaurant is expensive and the food is NOT what you’d expect. 5. Overall, value for money not best option.
