How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

As the busy boulevard is next to the hotel could be noisy at night, but this is normal for this area.

The mattress of the bed was in very bad condition, curved very much in spedial points. Needs replacement. The auto off light turns off immediately when you take the card off the specified place, needs a minimum time to turn off so not to get blind in the room.

The parking slot is rather tight and needs some driving abilities. The view from the window is not that great (if it looks on the backyard). The location is not in the very center, but has easy access to the metro.
All the staff we met were extremely nice and helpful (receptionists, cleaning lady). The free parking place in an underground facility was very useful. The room was actually a mini apartment with a small living room and a normal size bedroom. The air conditioning was efficient.

No sockets next to bed and few overall, so it was a bit difficult to charge our devices. The WiFi signal was not so stable.
The room was extremely clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Natural lighting was definitely a plus.

There are no things that I didn't like, I always just mention a few things I noticed for my fellow travellers in case it could be an issue for them. But like I said, it didn't bother me. Location: just know that you are not quite in the city center yet, just a tiny bit outside. It's a walkable distance (around 1.5-2km depending where) to reach the center as Saint Alexander Nevsky cathedral is only 2.5km. Also, like I mentioned, the subway is very close and gets you in the center in 10 minutes. But, you're just a little outside the center if you really like to be in the heart of the touristic/sightseeing area (1km radius); Noise: the property is located on a large street and there are rooms both on the front and the back of the property. It didn't bother me as the traffic at night slows down and once the windows are closed it's pretty quiet, but if you are a very light sleeper, just know the street is there and comes with some noise obviously.
This review is according to the type of accommodation I was booking and the type of traveler I am. You might not share these thoughts. Here are a few things I liked: Room: the room was spacious, really clean and had the things I expected according to the description. Some people sadly complain about some things missing when they are not even supposed to be there. Like most hotels, they offer different type of rooms including, or not, different things. My room had a couch, a table, a desk, a chair, a separate room and a fridge; Bed: was really comfortable and big and located in a separate room with a door; Outlets: available at accessible places in the room; Staff: was kind and helpful; Amenities: everything was working just fine and didn't have any real issues with any of them; Food: to me, there were good and cheap food options around the property. Not only there are a few kebab locations, but also authentic Bulgarian restaurants like Contessa which is only a few minutes away by walking (located in the park across the street a few blocks toward the city center); Location: very close to the Konstantin Velichkov subway station that not only connects to the airport, but is only a couple stations away from the city center. When you get out of the hotel, turn left and you'll have an entrance right by the little market. Overall, this is a really good value for the price and I recommend this hotel!

The air conditioner couldn't heat the part of the room where the beds are located.

Just few options of places to eat and have some coffee.
The apt is nice and the person in charge is very friendly and helpful. The address is close to a metro station.

Info about parking should be sent beforehand. Once you arrive at the location using a gps you already missed the parking. NOISE! There is a lot of noise coming from the main boulevard below the rooms. Noise above the rooms as well since planes are coming super close. The rooms have 0 noise reduction, the windows, at least in the room we stayed in, need a fix since they blocked 0 noise, you can hear everything from the street.
The location was great and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was really big and clean.

No comments regarding that, since we had no issues whatsoever.
The hotel is very cute. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was perfect for us, few km from the city but just besides the mall with the cinema. The amenities were good, room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Really nice stay.
