Restaurant area- decor needs work to create an ambiance, it is not inviting at the moment and somewhat in odds with the cool design futures otherwise in the hotel; invest in better pillows please!

The pillow was a bit low for me (clearly, a personal preference). Perhaps the hotel can consider the option to offer a couple of pillows to accommodate different preferences.

B1 City Hotel has turned into our preferred choice of accommodation whenever we are in Sofia - privately or on a business trip. The location is excellent - very close to the airport, next to a big shopping center and with easy access to the city center (by taxi or public transport). The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. The room was spacious, with modern design.

LevelOf breakfast is very basic, coffee tasteless, vegetables not looking fresh, butte and juice not kept cold. Restaurant manager should look for new job according to me.

Website times for breakfast were wrong so ended up almost missing breakfast, but the chef kindly kept it open for another 5 mins for us. The lighting in the rooms are rather poor, no main lights just a bunch of lamps. My bedside was missing a lightbulb, so I took it from a lamp which then blew a few mins later.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Reception and chefs were lovely to speak to and accommodating. Bathroom has a huge walk in shower with decent water pressure and no leaks.

There was ongoing construction or maintanance during breakfast, it was loud and caused unplesant smell (they were adding a layer of tar on the outside of the breakfast area). When asked about it and if its possible to postpone the repairs after breakfast the answer was that they dont know anything they cant do anything. Clearly a managment issue.

It would've been great if there had been toiletries provided (there was only soap, shower gel + shampoo in one room). The hotel is very close to a big shopping centre and bus stops but is otherwise far removed from the centre of Sofia. It would've been great if the blinds in the room were thicker and longer.

The room was very spacious and clean, exactly as shown in the photos. The bathroom was also quite spacious and very clean. Everything in the room seemed new and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable. The smart TV was a plus (however, there were issues with A1 when selecting programmes from the TV catalogue).

Nice, modern, spacious and clean rooms. The receptionist was very helpful and provided great customer service. I went for dinner at the hotel restaurant and the meal was very nicely prepared as well. The locations is very convenient- few minutes to the airport and next to a big shopping center.

Lovely new hotel outside of the city in the business district. Spacious room but another chair and a cupboard or shelves would have been nice. There is a big mall a few minutes walk away which has a supermarket and food court. Cost us 15 BGN to go into the city and 25 BGN to get back because apparently some taxis have a boost button on their meters to take advantage of tourists!
