The breakfast is very good but you do not have a choice. Everyday it changes but you cannot choose.

The room was perfect : big, clean, quiet, comfortable, nicely decorated. The staff was so nice and helpful. The whole place was so peaceful and nice. Our best hotel in Bulgaria so far. The restaurant is very good too.

It's no secret that the mountains in Bulgaria can get really cold at night, even in June. Understandably, there was no central heating. But the room was quite cold at night and when I asked for a heater, I was mocked and told off that it's "June and I should have prepared". What put me off was the reaction of the owner. If I'm cold, I'm cold - no matter the month. They told me they didn't have small heaters for the room which they probably should have and they also shouldn't have reacted with such a mocking tone if the comfort of their guest is their priority. It's still a great place and I would come back but from the perspective of a guest, if I say something is making me uncomfortable it shouldn't be questioned or mocked... whether they can resolve it or not is a different topic. So perhaps bring your own small heater unless you are coming in August. They do have solid blankets though so in the end it was fine - it was just the reaction...

In general, I like this hotel a lot. I like the traditional style and the home-y vibe. The food is absolutely fabulous. Prices are really okay for what you get. The most magical thing about the spot is the location - there's something about it that is so charming and calming! They have really cute dogs and meadow where you can play with them or your friends and the sports balls they have. You can also go horse riding, walking to the nearby village, go to the cave, or take a 4x4 jeep tour which is highly recommended and worth it. I don't know why it has only one star when it feels quite authentic and nice and the food is 10/10 - perhaps because it's smaller and they have limited rooms.

Great location in the Trigrad river valley, a few minutes drive to the magnificent gorge. The view of the surrounding hills is all about tranquility and connection with nature. The owners are very courteous and welcoming and strive to provide best possible service. The staff would cook tasty local traditional meals. We would gladly return again.

One of the most beautiful nature locations in Bulgaria, located in the secluded area without houses nearby. Hotel is simple - which is totally fine considering the wilderness around - but well maintained, rooms comfortable, clean, warm and quiet. Bed linen was unexpectedly high quality. Bathrooms are like everywhere in such type of accomodations, but hot water was strong and stable. Food was delicious, and staff is helpful and welcoming, ready to assist with any requests. Was asking for something different from the standard for breakfast for health reasons and was offered an acceptable replacement with kindness and parents like care.

Small hotel in authentic Bulgarian style. There are opportunities for walks, horse riding and more. The food is simply more than delicious. Everything is made on the spot. And the home made breakfast take you back to the childhood. The staff is just superb, making you feel part of a big family. Whatever we needed, they were always helpful . Of course I have to mention the good company of the cat Leizo, which make the stay even more cozy. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return.

Luckily we spent only one night!

I would never return in this property! The host was very friendly, however everything else terrible. The rooms are in lovely old style, the only new bit was the bathroom- complete disaster. You literally can’t have a shower without flooding the small space around that includes a toilet too. The food was very poor quality and rather expensive for the standard. I will not even waste time to comment breakfast. Definitely not recommend this place

There is no any choice for the breakfast and it's a little quantity.Wifi doesn't work. Personnel is very kind but they don't speak english. There is no shower cabin.

We were not given the two room suite we had booked, we were in fact given a small room with no separate lounge and a tiny balcony with space for only one chair! It was situated right above the restaurant/bar area so was not the quiet room we had requested. All this is in spite of us having booked over 6 months in advance. We asked the manager to fix this situation and he was very rude and unprofessional in his response to us. He told us he had given us the best room which was clearly not true and he was evidently not interested in helping us rectify the situation at all. Due to this situation we decided to curtail our stay, paid in full and left after only one night.

Very little I'm afraid. The English speaking member of staff (Martin) was very polite and helpful. The location was fine.

The shower and toilet need to be better planed, the whole room gets wet with every shower. The owners are new, I wish them luck.

The hotel has a very authentic Bulgarian vibe. The room was spacious and beautiful, clean and well kept. The food in the hotel’s restaurant was outstanding. The views around the hotel are really breathtaking.
