The room doesn't have blackout curtains, so you wake up from sunrise. The room has a desk, but it doesn't have a chair. The space to put the chair is occupied by a fridge. Wifi speed was with up and downs. Sometimes it was as slow as 4mb/s, other times it was ok and up to 60mb/s. You can work and have video calls, but keep 4g of your phone as back up. I was the bathroom and bedding to be a bit better given the price. It was still during high season, and not a major concern for me.

The location in new town is ideal to have a quiet sleep. Within a few minutes you can reach the taxi or minibus to go to the beaches. Walk 10mins and you'll be the Sozopol main beach area. The room was a good size. The pool and patio area are relaxing. Best part is the family managing the hotel. They're all friendly, attentive and upon arrival I got a map with good recommendations of where to go for food. There are a few bakeries nearby as well.

Great location and you can tell the property is maintained amazingly. Everything was super clean and there was daily cleaning (which you can opt out of). The staff are friendly and helpful and care about their guests! There is a bar/cafe in addition to the pool which is super convenient! The hotel itself was quiet at night and it was easy to relax while in our room. The room has all amenities you need, including fridge/freezer and AC. We are so happy with our stay and will be looking to re-book next time we're in Sozopol!

Note for car travelers: there is a cheap public parking for a cheap daily rate just 5min walk. However in the peak of the season or weekends it is difficult to find vacant lots in the evening. The Sofi staff helped me and we found a solution.

My new favorite place to stay in Sozopol. I’ve been coming here for seven years, and this is by far my favorite. Beautiful design, architecture, and layout. Family-owned and run, with incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring staff. Excellent customer service. The rooms were spotless, with exceptional views of the sea and New Town. Most charming hotel. Comfortable bed. Quiet area. True 5-star service, better than what I’ve experienced at Bulgaria’s top resorts. The staff are effortlessly kind and accommodating. It’s wonderful to see people who truly love hosting guests. Best value of any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Just 2 minutes to the Cherno More bus stop and a convenience store one block away.

Nothing! Might not suit those with limited mobility as no lift (I was on the 4th floor, so lots of steps but rewarded with great views from my balcony!), but it’s a small family hotel so it’s what you’d expect.

Good central location on a quiet residential side street, with quick easy access to Central & Harmanite beach and old town, and local shops for day to food and stuff, Jenny’s Patis patisserie is well worth a visit and just 2 mins walk on a back street behind the hotel. The manager Katherina really helpful and friendly as we’re all the family and staff. Good breakfast available and you can pick and choose which days t ok have this. I had a nice room with a balcony and view of Harmanite bay, Hotel has its own perfect little pool with courtyard garden to chill and relax with the family cats :)

Maybe need longer curtains to the floor for a nice lie in and if they cooked an omelette for breakfast, i would eat there every morning along with their freshly squeezed juice! 😁

This was a little gem of a place and I've travelled a lot around Europe on a budget. I'm further up the coast in Bulgaria now but I still think about the great time I had there with their private pool decorated lovely with plants and flowers, their perfect room with a sea view and great aircon and their 3 gorgeous cats! The host especially was on hand even at late check in and after I had formally checked out and went for lunch. I would love to bring my family back here. So affordable for top class service.

Nothing bad to say really, I got what I was promissed when booking online.

A very, very nice hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful, ready to assist you with anything. They even give you a map of the city with instructions on how to get here and there. The room is exactly as you see in the pictures (very pretty), also spacious and very clean. The pool is great, not too big but not too small either, perfect for a swim and a cooling down or just relaxing. In the evening everything is locked so I felt pretty safe. 10 minutes (light) walk to Sozopol central beach, and roughly the same to Harmani. 20 minutes walk to Paradise bay beach and about 35 minutes to Kavatsi beach. So this location is perfect if you don't want to be dependent on a car. The restaurants and bars are within walking distance also.

A perfect one for a family vacation

A quiet pool area to swim and sunbathe in the shadow of the plants. We liked the room too (the 3rd floor) with a balcony to sit out to enjoy your drinks and the view.

The hotel is close to the beach and the central shopping area of the New Town of Sozopol, the room was spacy and clean. The hosts were polite and the receptionist offered us a free beach umbrella. We would visit again!
