The park nearby the hotel was pretty nice. Especially the lake with the swans and ducks, it was quite fun for our kid. The spa in the hotel was nice and well managed.

Way too old facility, needs renovation. The mattresses have curves from overuse, but it is possible to sleep after a long day at the mountain. The laminated floor inside the rooms has cracks. The sound insulation is very poor and you can hear the kids next door waking up. The breakfast is fine, but you have to be in the restaurant before 9am to get the sweets. The best part of our stay was the swimming pool and spa area. The gym is well equipped, sauna and hamam were nearly perfect.

Staff doesn't pretty much understand English. The Shopska salad was different every evening. Cleaning is not much done, only trash removed, toilet paper is brought and towels are changed. There was a big layer of dust on the bedside cabinets, and the room has wood laminate flooring which is not very good when you come with snow on your shoes, as it degrades it. Only 1 classic key was provided for the room. Internet does not reach 4th floor. 4th floor can be noisy, because of the bar and playground from the 5th floor. Pool water is a bit cold. No refrigerator in the room, although it was specified in the room facilities. Breakfast starts at 8am, which is a bit late considering ski lessons start from 8:30 and you need to also drive 15 minutes. It would be better if it could start at 7am. Walls are very thin between the rooms, you can hear the neighbors talking. Heating is made with the air conditioning, which leads to condensation on the room windows. Elevators would need an update, they move a lot and could not find any logic on how they stop at the floor.

Good room size, nice view, very good breakfast. Good food at the restaurant, we ate in the evening at the hotel restaurant. Good location, a market with pharmacy is right next to the hotel. Big parking, there is also one small charging station for EV. Nice bar at the top with children playground.

At dinner the food at the buffet was cold There was a smell of mould in the room from time to time, and the mattress was not so good ( you could feel the springs) however we slept like rocks

It is a nice, 3 star hotel, big parking lot, with a very good relaxing zone, with a nice, clean sauna, swimming pool, everything was as expected. The breakfast also was quite good, not the best, but you have a few options to choose from. For a few days of staying to go ski, and for the value, I think is a good option.

Hotel with soviet vibe, but absolutely everything is clean and maintained in perfect condition. Heater was actually heating, breakfast was tasty, no issues with room's soundproof. Late checkout is a standard option which is useful if you ski first half of the day. Overall - perfect value for its price

In our room, the toilet was leaking onto the floor, a cockroach was running around, the curtain fell on the floor, and nobody hung it up in 3 days. And bed sheets were torn.

The hotel needs renovation. There was water infiltration in both of the rooms we had. The walls were cracked. The mattresses were a bit lumpy. The bathroom fan did not work in both of the rooms. The breakfast was poor and not very qualitative. The coffee was bad. We used the jacuzzi that was extra and the lady at the spa told us that we can only pay with cash when I asked her if we can add the cost of it to the room and pay with card. My husband had to get dressed from the pool, go to a supermarket near by and get some cash. When he came back, at the reception there was a note saying that the extra facilities can be added to the room cost. When we confronted the lady at the spa, she abruptly forgot English and did not say anything. Just before leaving she came to our room and handed us the receipt for the jacuzzi.

The pool is clean and well maintained. The views from the rooms were spectacular.

There was some mold in our shower and a lot in the steam room at the ceiling which must have been there for a long period of time and also one day the steam room was in a too low mode so it didn't do its job Also our bathroom didn't have any ventilation Except from the hotel something bad that happened to us as tourists in borovets is that there were some fake police officers that gave us a fake fine of ten euro for driving during day time with our lights off and they were very close to the ski center They asked us to pay it online so they could take the money but we went to the borders to pay that and we came up to that it is fake. so be careful
