Such a beautiful place, quiet and relaxing, with a lovely beach just few minutes away. Breakfast was so delicious and we loved the swimming pool swims in the afteenoon.

The hotel itself is located just outside of the city, making it very quiet and pleasant. There is a fair bit of nature on the premises-plants and trees (the hosts take pride in), turtles roaming freely, hammocks to rest and read books on. The pool in the hotel is clean and well kept, the breakfast is amazing and the service was exceptional. The room we had was on the first floor, elevated by 3 steps. It had a mini fridge/freezer, wardrobe, 2 seater sofa, TV, 2 night stands and a dressing table so overall it was a decent size room with all the things you need. There is a seating area just outside of the room and a lot of tables in the public space of the hotel. The beach is in a short walking distance of 100m. There are lots of beach bars and restaurants on the beach line as well. You can get to a big supermarket on foot (Lidl, about 10min walk) and a bus that runs every hour and connects the outskirts of Sozopol to the city center (the bus stop is located in Lidls parking, behind/next to the shopping trolleys).

It is perfect for people who love peace and quiet. The owners are extremely friendly and responsive. The place is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast they offer is divine. At first we were a little skeptical because of some of the negative reviews, but the owners have already taken care of it. There is now the option to darken your room if you need it and they have provided a shortcut so that you don't have to walk 50 meters along the road, past whizzing cars, to get to the beach. Everything was great, I highly recommend it!

Just few recommendation, to have the possibility to make the room dark for sleeping. In our apartment where our daughter slept was not possible and there was quite some light coming in. The bed sofa is ok for one or two nights and only for a child, I do not think it is comfortable for an adult. We had a very nice time and these are only recommendations to make it even better!

It is an amazing location, very friendly people, super nice breakfast and the fact you can take drinks at the pool with very good prices is very nice!

Everything was perfect.

When you arrive at Ancient Well, you are met by the amazingly gracious host, Nadya. Nadya and her husband were easily the best part of staying here. They were so welcoming and kind- they treat you as if you are a member of their own family. They make an amazing breakfast for their guests each morning, and are extremely easy to reach- the host gives you her personal cell number and is quick to fix any issues you may have! The property is a 5-7 minute walk from Kavatsi Beach, and 4-5 minute drive to the center. The hotel room was absolutely beautiful and very spacious, with a nice balcony and roomy bathroom. The property itself is also gated completely, and we felt very secure staying there. The hotel also had a very nice pool! I wish that we could have stayed longer, and would come back specifically just to stay with Nadya as our host. :)

Very quiet, no hustle, perfect for a holiday! You have everything you need, all the facilities and services. Breakfasts were amazing!! Various options for each day! Service was exceptional, Nadya was more than a host, we became friends immediately. So glad I met her and I will be back again ❤️

Before even coming to Sozopol, the hosts were super responsive on Booking chat and called us to confirm the time of arrival. During our stay, they were super helpful and ready to support us with any questions. The room itself was gorgeous and had everything we needed. The pool was also very clean, and the whole garden exterior was very relaxing and pleasant. The brekfasts were delicious, and we even got the chance to try the host's homemade banitza, which was great. Overall, I think this place is a true gem in Sozopol with fantastic hosts and great facilities.

The location is near a main road, but the traffic is light. Also, most rooms have windows towards the sea, away from the road. The beach is near, at about 5 min by foot. We liked very much the excellent organization: the cleaning staff came only when you posted the sign on the door, the food was served almost immediately when we sat at breakfast, we had remotes for the gates etc etc. Overall, a very good establishment and congratulations to Nadia & Spas!
