Sometimes was hard to get a hold of the front desk during hours, but they were really nice. The breakfast set up was also not the best, just vouchers and we don’t drink coffee.

The hotel is in a fantastic central location, with all the major sights just a short walk away. Two metro stations, Serdika and NDK, are also close by, making it easy to get anywhere quickly, whether you’re heading outside the city center, to the airport, or to the main train and bus stations. The area feels completely safe, and even though it’s in the heart of the city, the rooms are perfectly peaceful. You’d never guess there’s a busy pedestrian zone just outside. The staff are absolutely outstanding—professional, genuinely friendly, and always happy to help. Whether you speak to them in person or send a quick message on WhatsApp, they reply almost instantly with clear and detailed advice. Definitely great value for money.

Right on the corner of Vitosha bld. So comfy and spacious! Our main window faced the vibrant Vitosha bld., but the windows are soundproofed, no noise at all. Really liked the place!

I loved loved the staff. Plamen and Adriana were wonderful. Super helpful and kind. If in doubt ask Plamen. Since the day I arrived till the day I left, my experience at Agora was phenomenal! This hotel is in a central location. I traveled solo and was able to move around Sofia by walking everywhere. Till next time Sofia. 100 out of 10 experience.

Breakfast. The staff of the breakfast bar close to the hotel is unfriendly. If you come at 9:00 nothing left to eat. You should know that breakfast is very basic, coffee+croissant +juice or water. For me that was more than enough but if a proper breakfast is important for you this is not your place.

Very kind receptionist that was always available to help. My room was silent and spacious. Beds are very confortable.

There is no lift in the building and our room was on the 4th floor. It is rather tiring climbing all those stairs with the luggage and after a tiring day.

Large, clean apartment with 2 bathrooms and air conditioning, which was much appreciated when we arrived at Sofia International Airport at midnight and it was 31 degrees. Bottles of cold water in the fridge. Nice neighborhood.

Breakfast is in a café next to the hotel but nothing special. There are nice places to brunch nearby. AC was not working in my room which will definitely be a problem in Summer. The shower in my room has to be repaired.

There is no lift (elevator) so guests must carry their own luggage to upper floors. This might be difficult for older guests or people with disabilities. The reception desk is a small podium at the entrance that is unattended at night. There is no concierge service and no designated room to store luggage. The hotel asked several times that we register in advance of our arrival via an electronic platform. I was told that this was necessary (sic.) 'to generate a door code and a room number' and save time at reception. I would have preferred doing this on arrival and interacting with a receptionist face to face, rather than checking in and out electronically. True, it saved time, but I felt uncomfortable providing personal details to a bot. The hotel provides a set, complimentary 'light breakfast' (think Continental breakfast) at a neighbouring cafe each morning. The meal provider could have done far more to accommodate guests who have dietary restrictions. :C

The Agora Boutique is centrally located, only a few steps from the animated, pedestrianised shopping street Vitosha Boulevard, in close proximity to cafes, restaurants and shops. The window of the room can be opened for ventilation, but when closed, it blocked out the noise of the busy street below. The air conditioning, minibar, television and wifi all worked well. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the small ensuite bathroom was in good repair. The hotel is an old building that has been modernised and renovated. A traditional ceramic fireplace added a touch of period charm. The hotel receptionists were pleasant and communicated well in English.
