This is a superb b and b with everything top quality .A really lovely breakfast and a perfect location for exploring Ypres . As a base for following a battlefield tour it has everything. We especially enjoyed the welcome and conversations with the hostess . One to definitely return to . Roger and Sara Mitchell

Beautiful place to stay in a peaceful area and within 5 minutes walk of the Menin Gate and town square. Only 2 rooms, both spacious with everything you need. The owners are lovely and speak good English. Our motorbikes were safe on the driveway as there is CCTV coverage plus there's very little passing traffic.

Amazing super central location BUT quiet! Superb, super organised friendly hosts. Room is a large size with everything you could need - coffee machine, kettle, small fridge with some complimentary water and beers. Comfortable seating also. Car parking on front of property. We only booked on the morning of arrival and so hosts sent us videos of where to park and how to enter property etc. Breakfast lovely with juice, fruit, yoghurt, croissant, baguette, egg, ham, cheese etc.

Great location close to Menin Gate and other WW1 sites. Ria was a fantastic host: friendly and helpful (even helped with sorting a minor car issue!). Delicious breakfasts served on terrace. Electric bikes for rent!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Beautiful property right near to the Menin gate. The room is beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed, armchair. The en suite shower room is spotless. It’s upstairs above a large outbuilding with double aspect windows over the beautiful garden. Large parking space on the cobbled driveway right outside the door.

The hosts are fantastic to talk to and helpful regarding the local area and facilities in the area. The room was simple and well laid out with everything you could need during your stay. The location is fantastic. A few mins walk from the MeninPoort and the centre but also easy enough access to major roads to tour the many sites surrounding Ypres

Couldn't fault it.

Liked everything. Ria & Lorenzo are such welcoming and friendly hosts, suggesting things to do in and around Ieper. The room was great, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious. The house itself is in a quiet location, but is a very easy walk into Ieper, just a couple of minutes to the Menen gate.

For us, it was perfect.

The hostess made us very welcoming. She and her husband got us fresh bread for breakfast which was delicious served in a beautiful dining room. One of the best places I have ever stayed in. The rooms were tastefully decorated , well equipped . Also although the place is close to the Menin Gate , it was very quiet and we were able to get a very restful sleep.

Extractor in the bathroom is a little loud and took us a while to work out where the noise was coming from.

Perfect location for exploring Ypres and beyond. Very friendly hosts and we enjoyed talking to them about Belgium and the local area. Room was big and the bed was very comfortable.

First impressions of this BnB were very good as we were greeted by Ria (the owner) who makes you feel welcome as soon as you meet her, as does her husband Lorenzo. We were offered a drink and a chat as soon as we arrived and sat with her in her lovely garden. The bedroom was spacious, with a seating area, tea and coffee making facilities and it was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want including a little minibar with free drinks that were replenished daily. Breakfast was extra (15 euros each) but it was so worth it as it was delicious, with tea, coffee, fruit juice, bread croissants, eggs, fresh fruit , yogurt etc. it set us up for the day. Ria really does go out of her to make your stay as lovely as possible and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The BnB is just a short walk from the Menin Gate in a very quiet residential area. The added bonus is that there is free off road parking on site. This is probably one of the nicest BnB we have stayed at and we would definitely stay here again when we visit Ypres.
