Very nice property, with a spacious family suite. It was comfortable and clean, and it is very close to the center of Chimay. the breakfast was very good and the owner very friendly.

Beautiful building, with a lot of charm. Very nicely decorated rooms. Very practical check-in method when the reception is not occupied (code for entrance sent by sms). Delicious breakfast, provided in a beautiful room overseeing the villa's park.

The unfortunate temporary circumstance of a housing development under construction across the road which rather compromised our view.

Francoise, our host, was very accommodating about our need to leave early and produced a decent breakfast in the circumstances. Also the property had an EV charger for our car which was really convenient. This is new and should be mentioned on the website as it was a very pleasant surprise for us. Also the local restaurant (Poul et Boul) recommended by Francoise proved to be just right for our needs.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

It is a very nice old house with interesting local history ( a family of doctors lived there a hundred years ago). The reception at night was easy with a code. Very comfortable bed. An excellent breakfast in the morning. Easy and safe parking and proximity to some nice restaurants.

Villa is beautifull and well mainteined. It was very quiet and comfortable. Francoise was very helpfull and kind. Breakfast was really delicious. Whole stay was a very nice expirience.

It was quite hot while we were there and it would have been nice if a fan – even a desktop one – was in the room to help cool it down and keep bugs at bay. There were so many mosquitos in the room since we had to keep the windows open to stay cool, a fan could have helped keep them at bay.

The location was great – very close to the town center. The breakfast was delicious and the host was very friendly.

The building looked very worn out on the outside. The beams in our room could have done with a clean to remove cobwebs. Unfortunately it was very hot in the room due to warm weather; we missed air-conditioning ( although had advance knowledge of this when booking). This could be a wonderful place upgraded from basic to have a little more luxury, such as range of toiletries available other the hand-wash soap and shower/shampoo gel.

Old charm hotel with great potential, especially for a romantic break; room at the top of the house was unique; looking up at the spire, constructed of old beams and wooden pegs. Bathroom had a bath and shower. Good WiFi and quiet at night. Breakfast was continental with fresh fruit and local produce but expensive enough. Private parking in the grounds of Villa Adelaide itself. There was a pleasant garden in which to sit and be with nature.
