Easy to get in and out of Ypres by car and 25 mins walk. Super location beside a lake. Breakfast was excellent and it was lovely to have access to a kitchen to make coffee etc. Would definitely stay again.

The room we stayed in had a separate toilet to the main bathroom. However there were no hand washing facilities by the toilet and you had to walk around the bedroom into the main bathroom to use the sink.

Fabulous location, a short walk into town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

There was nothing to not like. The room we had may be difficult for people with mobility issues as the shower was up some stairs, but other than that, it is perfect.

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful location, comfortable beds, gorgeous bedrooms and fabulous breakfast with an excellent host. Would totally recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vijerhaus. The view across the lake was wonderful and gave us a magnificent view of the sunrise. The dining room was bright and sunny and a lovely place to have breakfast. The room was beautifully decorated and a good size

There was a bit of a drain smell from the toilet in the room. It was also not clear from Booking. Com that there was a self check-in and I needed to call the host to gain entry.

A great location on the lake and only a 20 minute walk to the Menin Gate. It’s also well placed for a base from where to explore WW1 sites. The breakfast was plentiful with a whole variety of options. We had a room with private balcony, ideal for relaxing after a busy day.

The outside seating areas were very dirty. The shower in our room was poor. And breakfast was great but not good sitting in direct sun light with no window blinds

We loved everything about this accommodation. The checking in was simple,( we got in early),the setting was fantastic, with stunning views, so peaceful , room was clean and very well appointed. The breakfast was the best we have ever had at a b and b. Cannot praise this place highly enough

Sitting by the lake, we started and ended each day watching the wildlife. Our room had a great view of the lake (I think all the rooms do), and was very quiet. Everybody was very friendly. It is about a mile from Ypres centre so walking into town for dinner in the evening enhanced our appetite, and walking back aided digestion.
