Beautifully located by the canal and just a short walk from the city center, this hotel is perfect for exploring on foot. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of fresh and delicious options. Rooms were cozy and comfortable, making it a truly relaxing stay.

My room didn’t have a standup shower which was described at the time of booking. This did not bother me but if you like a standup shower then check your room booking details.

Central location but very quiet. A few minutes walk from cafes and restaurants. A lovely big comfortable room overlooking the river and a great breakfast buffet.

It wasn’t very luxurious and one slight drawback was that the shower was not fixed to the wall so was just a bath with a shower head. It was still good value for money

The location was fabulous with our room facing onto the canal where we could open out the window and take in the view. The room was quaint with a medieval feel. and only a 5 minute walk to the main square.

Not used to taking baths but we knew that going in.

Very quaint and adorable hotel. The staff were very accomodating allowing us to drop off our luggage early and keep it there late before we left. Great location!

Being a period building (though old and charming) means the accessibility can be an issue. If stairs aren't your friends, consider asking for a room on the ground floor as there's no lift. Other than that, the place is amazing!

The hotel is located in a period building by the canal, absolutely beautiful. Comfy beds, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Short walk to the main square, and they give you plenty of tips where to go.

Our room had a bathroom which and a bath with a shower in but nowhere to attach the shower to the wall for a stand up shower.

The hotel was in a beautiful location right on the canal and not far from the main square. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our sta. The staff were friendly and the hotel also had a nice little garden.

Only one small (very small) negative was the noise from the garden area. We are early to bed and early risers, but we both have ear plugs, so the noise was not too obtrusive. One suggestion would be to have little jugs to put milk in for us English people to be able to pour milk into our cups of tea! I used a glass from the serving table and then poured it from the glass into the cup. These are only very small feedback points - as the hotel and our stay was WONDERFUL.
