We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BelgiumThe bedroom was adequate but would benefit from bedside lamps, a desk and most importantly tea and coffee making facilities. These were available at extra cost. As were bath robes and slippers.
I loved the general style of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was of good quality. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely. The free car park was handy. Our dog really enjoyed his stay too.

United KingdomQuite tired and old fashioned decor . Our room was drab. The curtains next to the bed did not close properly so we were woken each morning by the light in our eyes . There is no complimentary drinking water provided and 3 euros for a tiny bottle in the minibar. The two water was softened so unpalatable to drink . There was an irritating noise that kept us awake at night . It was intermittent so would just get to sleep and it would start again . The light in the mirror in the bathroom didn’t work . It just didn’t feel value for money .
Nice location , quiet pretty area and close to Zwim nature reserve .

MonacoOld style hotel with certain charm and a lovely garden being refurbished with work still needed to be done, not well isolated from noise from adjoining rooms. Reception, stairs, hallways and some rooms need freshening up as decoration, paint and carpets are worn out. I found expensive in a ratio quality/price due to the overall conditions of the establishment.
The restaurant was good though the service was very slow. Very nice garden and easy parking.
