I would appreciate if the bar downstairs was serving esspresso and having a wider selection of milks, including plant-based. Unfortunately only basic coffee was possible to have during breakfast hours only

Straight forward accommodation for the night.

We arrived very late hence probably no smiles from the staff. We also booked very much late in the day. The sofa bed was not prepared. Perhaps it was missed. We then waited to someone to make it whilst I hit in the bathroom with the dog so he would not bark. Annoying when you are tired but it can happen. Slept well, clean room, comfy bedding. No coffee machine. WC separate to bathroom, strange. Check out was at 12 which was super convenient for us.

The air conditioning didn't work very well. The decor is a bit tired.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and there was a variety of food available. There is free parking outside the hotel or there is an adjoining pay and display car park. Not too far to walk into town

Not the prettiest area of town, but also just a 5-minute walk from nicer parts and 15-20 minute walk to the main central attractions/restaurant area.

I have stayed several times, I think this will be my last one. The room is badly isolated from the exterior, so you hear heavy traffic all night.

Noisy - So much noise coming from the room above and the hall way, so if you are unlucky as we were, it can be rather annoying. However, I do think it was out of the ordinary as it sounded like a school class was checked in at the same floor as us and not taking much consideration for everybody else.

Room was clean, bright and spacious. Bed is comfortable and the extra bed/sofa could be moved around, so we had a better sleeping arrangement with the kids.

Pathway to the train station was closed due to construction. Room service didn't answer the phone but going down to the restaurant could bring the tray of food to my room.

The A/C worked pretty well, weather was wonderful, many restaurant choices nearby. The restaurant on site had great food with vegetarian choices too.

Only slight negative was that the built in USB charger on wall in one of rooms not working, but that was minor.

The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked into the lobby. The rooms were lovely, clean, neat and a good size. They gave us two family rooms next to each other (as we requested) but with connecting doors allowing us all to move between the rooms as though in an apartment! Everything about our stay was great!!

Rooms are a bit dated, there's only a small bottle of water in the fridge, there are no lotions or so in the shower, no small toiletries etc But I totally fail to understand how they can justify 7,5 EUR for a small bottle of water and a 33 cl can of Coke ... 2nd I had to pay 22 EUR for underground parking, which is about the going rate in expensive Leuven ...

Room was clean, comfortable, enough space. There was a fridge, which is always comfortable, nice bathroom, and good brand of shower gel/shampoo. I was lucky on the 1st day to get free parking in front of the hotel.

I did not really like the breakfast. There is not a lot if choice and the charcuterie seems to be a rather low cost selection. I would expect a bit of smoked salmon, or some eggs freshly made on request. My suggestion would be to improve the breakfast quality and then ask a few extra EUR for it. After all it is a 4 star hotel, which should come with a certain standard.

The room was ok, but I don't think that this cheap Nescafe coffee in the room is acceptable. Typically, comparable 4 star hotels have a Nespresso machine in the room.

My stay at Novotel Leuven was wonderful. The hotel offered a comfortable and relaxing environment, with spacious rooms and excellent amenities. The staff were friendly and attentive, making it a pleasant experience overall.
