Very light with a high ceiling and large windows. Very large bed, but still had room for a table and 2 comfy chairs. Compact storage but more than enough for a short stay. Includes a small fridge with chilled water on arrival. Good bathroom - well maintained and cleaned. No bath (that's our preference) but an excellent shower. The staff downstairs in the patisserie were very friendly and helpful.

There's nothing to say horrible about it it was absolutely amazing from the minute you walked through the entrance into a beautiful studying clean and tidy room Windows so shiny and clean you could see through them not like all the other places I've stayed. Under staff was very friendly helpful and smiley The bakery downstairs made the most perfect magical breakfast.

Nothing. Happy about the room and the size of the bathroom is great!

Rooms is above a patisserie/ bakery and one checks in through the shop. So always have easy access to baked goodies they make. Location is near to wak anywhere central to tourist like St Bavos and St Michael’s bridge. No elevators so had requested first floor room. I liked that they were proactive as they contacted me even before i knew my door key was deactivated somehow and they had issued me a new one. Also one staff actually slept in the propwrtty so there is soneone u can call if needing help. Special mention to Pino and Xavier for their kindness and attention during our stay.

Second floor noise (people walking around) was very loud on our floor being the first floor. Not recommend for light sleepers. Otherwise excellent.

Absolutely nothing. It was perfect. * there is no lift but staff will offer to help with your luggage if needed.

The location in central Gent is perfect. The rooms are large and spacious with high ceilings and have the option of fresh air through open windows or AC. The shower is luxurious with towels and washcloths provided. The fact that the rooms are directly above an amazing bakery that offers breakfast is incroyable. Highly recommend staying here

Everything was amazing; nothing to complain about at all. Advisory though, there are a chunk of stairs.

Everything. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was excellent. Shower was instantly hot, fluffy pillows, and large windows for natural light. The host worked in the downstairs bakery and was very, very nice. The whole bakery staff was great. We initially did not get the breakfast plan but opted for it the first day and it was overwhelming with a little of everything included - get the full breakfast at least 1 day and revel in it. The meringues were the best we ever had; neither of us liked them going in and we tried what was included with breakfast and it blew our minds that they could taste so good. Two of the best chocolate places (after trying 7) are located within 100 steps of the place. Ghent was lovely as well and one of our new favorite cities in Europe.

There is no elevator and there are a lot of stairs. This was not a problem for us but could be a problem for someone with mobility issues.

The staff were all welcoming, helpful & friendly. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and was well equipped. The accomodation is well placed for all the sights of Ghent.
