There wasn't anything we didn't like, as I said everything about our stay was beautiful. The only thing I wasn't sure of was how to access the gardens in the back of the property. I don't believe we went through this when checking in. Not a huge deal as we were only there a short time and out and about a lot but would have been good to know.

We had an excellent stay at Maison Fred. The decor in particular was the real show stopper of our stay, everything was so unique and well thought out, I don't think I have ever stayed somewhere that was as beautiful as our room. The accommodation is also above an interiors/decor shop that I was really sad we didn't get a chance to properly look in as it was closed on Sunday. Check-in was very smooth and I loved that there was also a dog - Pippa, to help guide us to our room. Location was also perfect, only a short 5 minute walk to the main square and lots of interesting shops and restaurants around. We also had a car and found the parking garage easily which was close to the property and reasonably priced for Brugge. I would recommend staying here to anyone, and if I am back in Brugge in the future will definitely stay again.

Dear Frederiek thank you so much for very smooth check in (was pleasure to meet you)! It was quick with all information we needed. In reality this place looks even more beautiful! We had a perfect Christmas stay. Beautiful decorations, private sauna, great location, amazing bath , comfortable bed and the fire place !!! And so much more! Also the parking just around the corner few minutes away. Shop downstairs so beautiful where you can buy nice things and beautiful flowers too ! We would like to come back in summer time as they have a beautiful garden too !

The design of the room was gorgeous and perfectly located. It's quite rare those days but the value for money was excellent. The room itself was very spacious but very cosy at the same time - we loved the fact that the bedroom/bath were separated by a little corridor from the living room. The fire place was also a big plus in this season. The breakfast was also delicious with everything we might want and some lovely attentions such as the temperature outside to help us getting ready accordingly. Finally the host were amazing - they welcomed us early but were very kind about it. They were always there but quiet at the same time. it was excellent!

I would recommend to change the color of the towels to white towels . Colored towers do not feel as clean even if they are. Sleepers would be very appreciated. I did not understand why they did not make the bed while cleaning he room.

Fred is always there to help. Rooms are big and decorated in a unique way. Location is great. Breakfast is amazing. I would definitely stay at Fred's again.

Nothing! It was all wonderful

We absolutely loved staying at the property. Everything was perfect, the design was wonderful (we wish our own home looked like this!) Brigit and Fred were extremely warm and welcoming. They were helpful before and during the visit (we had to cancel once before Xmas due to an issue with the euro tunnel and they were very accommodating) The garden is stunning, the views from the room (we had city) were lovely. You must stay here, it’s probably one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The breakfast was also delicious, we would highly recommend.

Beautifully designed and crafted rooms above a gorgeous flower and objects shop 5 minutes walk from all the spots yet in a calm area away from the hustle. It’s the most charming and thoughtful place we have stayed in Europe in a while. The sauna is a great extra.

Just a consideration for the bathtub as it has steps going up to it and can be pretty dangerous slippery. But from a design perspective it was beautiful!

LOVED this hotel and room. Super cozy and chic! the decor is what I aspire my home to look like. Every detail was considered from the sound system in the room to the fire place. The staff were so nice and Fred himself served us breakfast in the room!

The apartment was beautifully decorated. It was so close to the centre that it was the perfect base for our trip. The suite had the pool view and was large and luxurious. The bed was amazing, so comfortable. The gardens were gorgeous. Fred who owns the apartment and Brigitte were so helpful. We will definitely be back.
