We were truly impressed by the location – surrounded by stunning nature, it's the perfect place to relax. The staff was absolutely wonderful: kind, helpful, and always welcoming. The overall atmosphere was very pleasant and inviting.

If travelling from Houffalize, the hotel is easy to miss as there isn't any signage or name on the hotel. Also, the parking lot consists of stone chippings which can be difficult on a large, heavy motorcycle.

A nice hotel with pleasant, friendly staff. The room was clean and facilities were adequate. The evening meals were excellent. Although the main road runs by the hotel, it was quiet at night for an undisturbed sleep.

Approaching the hotel from Houffalize, there is NO signage with hotel name or indicating parking area. Good signage from other direction. Very frustrating after a long motorcycle ride in 30+degrees, laden bike and nowhere easy to turnaround. Then to find the parking area is stone chippings, which can be a challenge for some riders. Limited power points in the room . Our room was compact, but our friends room only had a velux window on 2nd floor, so extremely hot. The outside garden area by the river lacks attention. Plenty of tables, to sit and enjoy a drink but grass cut and general tidy would improve ambience.

Lovely helpful staff. A very good Chef as evening meals were excellent (booking is advisable) . Good buffet breakfast.

There was the smell of a very storm air freshener or perfume in one of our two rooms that didn’t dissipate with time. It was rather unpleasant.

The location was beautiful. About a mile outside of town close to the small river. The staff was lovely. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was delicious!

The bathroom did not have a mat to stand on when you get out of the bath. Also the screen on top of the bath to avoid water on the floor when you take a shower did not really fulfil its purpose. Room was rather tight. We only had small luggage, otherwise it would have been difficult to put it in

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had dinner at the hotel which was very well presented and good tasting. The location is not too far (by car) from Houffalize and hiking possibilities. The breakfast was OK, but no hot servings.

pretty small rooms, no AC, and no mosquito frames in the windows, new rooms but some things are rather older..

Position of the hotel, easily accessible to closest bike trails. Nice hotel recently opened after renovation, although some things are old (such as glass in the bathroom separating the bathtub,..and some other details ). We encountered a pretty strange situation when we checked in in the morning they gave us a room in a corner closest to the street. When we arrived back from the bike tour in the evening, there was a loud wedding party across the road in the small garden, it was super loud so we went to complain to the owner. Fortunately, they changed our room to the opposite side where the noise was not so loud anymore and also party was shut down by midnight, but nevertheless, they could inform us right in the morning as this procedure took a while to set. We were lucky that that night only a few guests were checked in so more rooms were available. Other than that, the rooms were very nice, with comfortable beds, good WiFi connection, and there was a fan in every room I saw. Nice breakfast, I missed boiled, or scrambled eggs, it was all a rather cold breakfast plus some baked puff pastry, overall pretty tasty. The owner let us also use the garage for our bikes and wash our bikes with a garden hose. to wrap up a very nice hotel but it is a pity that strange arrangments around this wedding occasion happened, but we appreciate the owner's approach/ suggestion to solve this situation.

Very cool setting around and love the feel of the hotel, the beds were very comfortable, nice quality of beds and bedding and loved the dining room and breakfast was really a highlight! It is such a welcoming dining area with pristine clean glasses, and marble tables, great variety offered at breakfast. Loved the coffee machine too. Staff is very friendly and helpful and quick to respond via booking and in person! Helpful that they accept dogs too;)

I've rarely encountered such a peculiar value-for-money ratio. €160 per night for a single room—that sets higher expectations than what I have got. At that price, you expect at least some basic standards. I'm not particularly sensitive, but my bed and the bathroom still had long black hairs, so it wasn´t cleaned properly. The claustrophobically small room had no actual window—only a strange setup where the bathroom was separated from the room by a glass wall. The bathroom had a window, but you couldn't properly darken it. So when the sun rises the room gets bright. The Wi-Fi bandwidth was so poor that I couldn't use my phone’s data or the smart TV in the room. I mean if Wifi is offered and you have a smart TV I expect it to work. Very early in the morning it worked somewhat. A wood panel on the wall seemed like an attempt to jazz up the room, but then you'd expect the rest of the furniture to match. A crushed cookie on a water glass for welcome? I couldn't make sense of that combination either. At least not a bottle of water or anything. I honestly can’t understand the positive reviews here. Maybe Room 4 is the worst in the entire hotel and I was just unlucky. This price for a room like that is just unacceptable.

Super cleanliness, excellent breakfast, comfortable and pretty interior, and the most accommodating staff I’ve encountered at a hotel since at least 2020. I was pleased to see the river from our room. Also, the parking lot is large and easy to access.

Spotless, cosy bedding, fluffy towels. Felt more luxurious than many 4star hotels. The restaurant serves fantastic and high-end food.
