United StatesWe spent two nights at the hotel. We could not have asked for more. It’s a family run hotel that does its very best for one to feel at home. Its luxury with character. Charming interiors, very well decorated and an awesome staff. The attentiveness is beyond most experiences we ever had. It’s a small hotel in a quiet part of town. 5 minute walk to all the attractions of Bruges. And steps away from a beautiful jogging route. Breakfast in the morning is great which makes for a great start to the day. Thank you Hotel Van Cleef. PS: If you are looking for a busy lobby, big groups of people, and the snazz of expensive cars parked outside, this is not for you.

United KingdomThe two-floor layout of our room would be perfect for a couple but, travelling with our daughter, she took the upper 'sitting room' area which left or bedroom space a little small.
All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they are very invested in their guests. On Christmas eve they arranged for a singer and musician to play in the lounge which was delightful. Amazing cooked breakfasts, beautiful spread of pastries which was not always needed for our party of three. The lounge and bar spaces are ideal for spending time in away from the bedroom - we were there for Christmas and it was lovely to be able to go down to open presents etc by the fire. Very good size of bathroom with lovely products.
