The apartment is located close to everything one wants to visit in Brugge. However, the apartment is in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment is furnished in a home like eclectic style with beautiful artwork. It just felt like a home away from home, or being a guest in someone’s beautiful house. Would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in Brugge.

The only challenge was turning off and on the shower. It was a bit challenging but I was able to help my wife out with a little muscle. I mean, there were even homemade cookies and unlimited cookie, homemade jelly via an espresso maker awaiting us. Location was also excellent.

We have been traveling Europe for nearly 1.5 months and this was the warmest and most inviting place we stayed. It was amazing.

Nina was a great host. Always available. We stayed 8 nights, It is in the quiet part of Bruges away from the tourist, but an easy walk to the city centre. We had Nina stock the refrigerator before we arrived. This was a great valve. We used Bruges as a base and visited Brussels, Ghent and Antwerp. The train is an easy ride to all those cities. Rented the bikes from Nina too. Took a ride to Damme very easy ride. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. We made all our breakfasts and 3 dinners at the apartment all utensils are available. When we come back to Bruges we will stay again.

Banging my head on the very sloped ceiling in the bedroom became an issue for me , I'll blame it on the Belgium Beer ! Bags of character though .

Beautiful apartment, absolutely the best stocked in terms of everything you could want in a kitchen, it felt like home from home. Comfy sofas and little extra touches such as home made treats made this a very special place to stay. Great quantities of towels , and lovely quality bedlinen too. Nina was accommodating and very easy to contact via WhatsApp .

The location is great , everything is in walking distance. The host is very helpful and available to assist you on WhatsApp. Apartment has a nostalgic look and facilitated with new technology.

The switches for the lighting were a bit idiosyncratic - we had to draw ourselves a diagram! It would have been nice to meet our host, but she was only a text away and communication was excellent. Might be a problem to get the key code etc if you didn't have a smartphone.

The apartment was wonderfully well equipped. Everything had been thought of - no utensil missing. The room were a good size and very tastefully decorated. The location was superb. Very quiet and yet close to amenities (local shops etc) and the Jerusalem Church, and only 15 mins walk from the centre. The welcome pack was a nice touch and much appreciated.

The apartment had everything we needed for our week in Bruges, an ideal base within 10 minutes walk of the main city centre area and its many attractions. We tried a number of Nina’s recommendations for meals and drinks and were not disappointed. Nina was also quick to respond to our texts, very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was just as shown in the photos, the kitchen was stocked with tea and coffee etc but also with herbs and oils, a definite bonus when we self catered. We relaxed in the living area, enjoying Nina’s little local beer and chocolate gift and slept very comfortably all week, in an apartment that was cosy and warm whilst it was -5 outside. We also much appreciated being able to arrange a ‘breakfast basket’ through Nina, saving a trip to the supermarket on check in day.

This was an amazing apartment with every amenity you can think of. Nina is an extraordinary host. We will definitely stay at this apartment if we ever visit Bruges again. A few minutes walk to the center. We loved every moment in the apartment.Thank you Nina.

Everything was super fine. I cannot find something negative

Literally everything. The guestsuit is far better than the photos at booking app. Cozy and classy at the same time, the guestsuit provided everything we would possibly like. Wild card: the bycicles :).

If you're looking for a typical little house in a quiet back street in Bruges, this is the place. We could not recommend Sir Joachim enough. We liked the bedroom being in the roof where all you can hear is either wind and rain or silence. Nina was very helpful and sent a lot of very helpful information about things to do and where to eat in Bruges. She is very fast to answer questions and very kindly arranged a small surprise for us coming along with some small snacks and local beer - she makes really good biscuits. The bed was really comfortable and the apartment has everything you need.

It's really a very lovely place, with a large living room and a wide bed upstairs under the roof. Its all beautifully furnished. There were some welcome snacks and fruit waiting when we came, so we felt at home right away. The location is very close to the city center, but outside the main tourist streams, so its quiet and not crowded. All in all we had a very nice time there, and spend many relaxing hours in the apartment when we came back from exploring.

Everything. Wonderful old historical house in the center of Bruges, in a quiet little street. The property is fully equipped with anything you could wish for. Very cosy, romantic, comfortable, and finished to the highest standard. The host was very helpful. We just wish we could have stayed longer 🤗. Next time we visit Bruges again we'll definitely stay at Guesthouse Sir Joachim again!

Absolutely beautiful apartment with everything one could need to have a very enjoyable and relaxing stay! Location was great - very peaceful, away from the crowds but still close to the main attractions in Brugge. Apartment was beautiful and very well equipped. Communication with Nina was impeccable. Breakfast basket was definitely worth it and local delicacy presents were a very nice touch.

Nina is a wonderful host and had thought of everything and more. The guest suite was fully equipped and with lots of personal touches. Nina was very responsive to all our needs. The parking nearby is in a secure locked garage.

Mystifying lighting system. It was trial and error with the switches every time. But I am not sure that counts as a dislike!

Convenient location on a quiet street in a charming, historical area, 10 minutes walk from the main museum & shopping centre. Spacious flat furnished with great style. Very well stocked fridge - thank you, Nina!

A lovely house with all the comforts of home. It even had a toaster and egg boiler. The house a great atmosphere and the bed is very comfortabel. The location is close to the centre of brugges and almost everything is at a 10-20 minute walk. We went there on our honeymoon and our hostess did make it very special, thank you Nina!
