Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsStating the correct address on Booking.com would help. Housenumber is 37E instead of 37. It is a few kilometer difference. Very basic breakfast for 15 euro. Would be fair to state the price at Booking.com.
Very spacious room and bathroom. Beautiful surrounding. Great view over the garden/resort.

United KingdomRooms too hot. Had to have windows open and we all got covered with mosquito bites. Choice of food in the evening very limited and expensive. Quality of the WiFi was virtually unusable. Breakfast definitely not worth £13?
Location, looking out onto golf course. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms adequate for a couple of days. Parking.

United KingdomThe facility to make tea or coffee in the morning would be more inline with good hotels in these days. 2 cups and a small kettle in each room would be a great idea.
Breakfast fine. Location fine, easy to find.

United KingdomThe whole building could have money spent on it giving it a fresh & clean appearance. Some of the corridors were very dark & dated. Could do with a spa or small swimming pool which could make the experience a lot better
The bed in the room was large & the bathroom/Shower room was clean. The bar staff were friendly & were very helpful.

AustraliaWe felt like we were just there to fill an empty room. The staff, from reception to bar and waiting staff acted like we didn't exist. It became quite obvious that the regular patrons or club members got the attention. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was expensive, and extremely underwhelming. This was after we managed to attract attention to order our food. This took an eternity to come, and, for the money, we've had far better...really, far better for less money. When we managed to attract attention to order dessert and coffee, the coffee arrived, but no dessert, until, again, managing to attract attention, it was obvious that it was forgotten, so it arrived later, with no apology. Breakfast the next morning...15 Euro each, was just another major disappointment. The choices were minimal, one choice of cerial (which was muesli I think) some rolls, coffee, boiled eggs (which ran out 30 minutes before breakfast finished so they turned the warmer off so that another guestwho arrived after this had to insist they do eggs for her). I know it may be minor to some, but I drink black/English Breakfast tea....there was none, and they couldn't supply any. When it came time to check out, we couldn't find someone to do this...we asked our bar staff person from the night before where to find someone, and he just pointed and said down the end of the hall. There was no one and we had to hunt and eventually found someone at an out building...which was actually reception but not where we checked in. We have been travelling now for over 10 weeks since leaving Australia, and in many countries and we go home in another two weeks. In all our time away, this has been the most disappointing. We make reasonable allowances for places we stay at, but the dismissive attitude by the people here we found particularly disappointing. Stay there by all means, but eat and drink away from the property.
The place itself was very nice...lovely location, overlooking the golf course (and I don't play golf), room was spacious and the bed was large and comfortable. However, as mentioned in another review, no aircon was an issue. It was a day close to 30 degrees and the room was quite hot and no fan to move the air. But quite good value for the money.

GermanyThe WiFi was a joke unless you sat in the bar. Considering the cost of this place, I would have expected good quality WiFi in all rooms, not just the bar area.
This is a lovely building in a lovely location. The staff were very friendly.
