The room was facing the square which was noisy. I got woken up a few times by people shouting outside or early works on the square (due to Christmas market). I was hoping we could have a room facing the quiet street at the back but it was fully booked. There is no reception/staff, which we knew because of all the reviews so that’s fine but it still made our check out complicated (although our check in was smooth) as we wanted to store our bags and if was difficult to find help (we had to ask a cleaner to open the restaurant so our bag can be store behind the bar, very strange. But at least they stored them for us which was great). The bed sheets were stained and with holes.

We arrived at 6 pm and there was no one to open the door, therefore we went to the front side of the building, (which is a restaurant) one of the rude waitresses told us to "wait there" then he came and he only wanted to take 16 euro city tax without any eye contact. After payment he told us "follow me" and we passed inside of the restaurant kitchen and he gave the envelopes (which include keys) and said that go to the second floor, you will see the rooms and check your room name on the envelopes without again eye contact. You should inform your guest properly about the late checkin conditions. The room was okay however you should change your toilet garbage box and toilet brush which were really dirty. Pillows are too small and not comfortable. The room floor makes incredibly high noise.

The breakfast was not managed properly, you have to walk to a nearby hotel for the breakfast with very limited timing and options available.

The location is the best to live in Bruges, view from the room was superb with Xmas market scene in front of our room.

The Bath Tap was NOT working but the bathroom shower was fine. No staff was there to ask for the problem. The hotel's entrance was from the back of the restaurant, initially it took me 5 minutes to find the name and entrance of the hotel.

The attic room was spacious. The bathroom was clean enough with multiple towels. Bed was nice and big enough.

The enterance is a little tricky to find and you may need to wait a little for someone to answer the door as it is a functioning restaurant.

We only received 1 coffee pod each, but we were there for 2 nights. There was a staff member to meet us on the first day to give us the key, but there was nobody there for the remainder to get extra coffee or milk, so sadly had to buy our own.

The location was brilliant!! Couldn't fault it! The bed was very comfortable and the room was a decent size with a decent shower.

It was very hard to find the entrance tucked in an alley. My gps could not find it. Also, I was unaware there were stairs and no elevator.

There was no good communication with the staff. The facilities of the room were something between the basics and "poor". Imagine, no soap to wash hands. It was given two shower gels and two conditioners for 2 people for 2 stays and the third night someone of the staff just asked if we would like something to refresh!! Also, in the room there was a coffee machine but there was no coffee around!!

The property is not far from the city center. The area is very nice and quiet. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable

I was a bit disappointed with your service. Both the check in experience and the fact that they came to my room to do the cleaning and they put to the trash things that I still needed: a box of my solid shampoo and a rest of a sample cream. I know they need to clean and it’s good of course but don’t go through peoples’ stuff. Plus they never reply to my messages.

There was no soap for hands in the bathroom, which is very strange given there was a shampoo and a conditioner for hair. This has not happened to me even in budget hostels. Also not good for longer stays as there is no one coming to tidy up orwhom one can contact with questions.

The luggage storage area is on the first floor of the guesthouse and isn't locked, so there is a risk there. Also they make you leave the city tax in cash, which isn't convenient to have the exact cash amount. It's all stairs soore just a note for people with difficulties or lots of luggage.

A strong sewage-like odor was present throughout the property, including in our room. This persisted all night, causing us physical discomfort and making it impossible to rest properly and no staff to be found. The room was not soundproofed, despite this being explicitly stated in the listing. Noise from outside and within the building was clearly audible throughout the night. Hygiene and cleanliness were severely lacking. The room was covered in thick dust and had clearly not been cleaned in a long time. Worse, the air conditioning unit was directly above the dust-covered area, and since the room was freezing, we had no choice but to use it. This resulted in dust being blown directly onto the bed while we slept, adding to the discomfort and potential health risks. no staff present during the night, leaving us with no way to report these issues or request assistance. Given these circumstances, our stay did not meet even the most basic standards of accommodation

Rude staff. Contrary to what is described on the website there weren't luggage storage, hairdryer and the room was dirty and very noisy. The room wasn't cleaned,dirty bathroom and room. The coffee machine was full of used capsules...

The location was great although it was badly explained how to access the accommodation. All the information about how to find it came from our own research from previous clients' comments on the reviews and not the place itself. The room looked renovated and promising but the toilet had stains and the toilet paper was wet. Finally, and to be honest the most sad point, there was absolutely no interest by part of the host (a random waiter from the restaurant?) who did not greet us, took us in quick to pay the city tax and gave us a dirty key with no explanation about where the room was (or what room), about the accommodation or anything at all. I am sorry but I do NOT recommend.
