Vincent was so nice. He waited for us as we arrived late due to traffic and made us feel welcome immoderately. The hotel is very cute and nicely embedded into the cliffs. It is also not very far from Dinant and right at the river. The breakfast was very good and the fresh orange juice was super tasty.

Fantastic host, very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast room has been very well renovated. The rooms are very comfortable and very neat. We could borrow bikes to go to the restaurant for our dinner and enjoy the countryside

The property is very comfortable with a lot of history, and our host made us very welcome, even lending us a couple of bicycles for the evening. We enjoyed a good nights sleep and a delicious breakfast.

The front rooms face the road, so there can be a bit of traffic noise

Main positive is the staff, very polite, friendly. Breakfast very decent for such a low price (9 euros). Room was very clean, the building is beautiful and the location is nice, although a few kms from the centre of Dinant. A lot of parking space if you come by car.

The hour to enter at 16 p.m is late The bedmatras was hard which we are not used too. The small fridge on the room makes a lot of noice. The location is not ideal to start a walk in nature as the road has no sidewalk and is therefore dangourous.

Friendly welcome with a welcoming drink. Everything was very clean and the breakfast was superb. There were goodies like shampoo and shower flacons and even slippers available and towels of superb quality. Coffee in the room

Traffic noise was loud with the windows open. Not bad at all when they were closed though. As with many places in the area, this is a re-purposed building from the early 1800's. It gives it charm in many ways but, not your typical hotel room. Great value nevertheless!

The host, Vincent, was amazing. Fresh croissants for breakfast were delicious! He gave us some wonderful suggestions for activities in the area, and took his time in providing directions and descriptions. His assistance definitely improved our experience in Dinant. The room was large with a beautiful view of the river.

Stayed for three nights, I wish I had booked more. The perfect hotel. Beautiful room. The owner Vincent is a fantastic host with excellent local knowledge which is readily given and highly appreciated. He also makes excellent beer recommendations - given as a complimentary welcome beer every evening! Very close to Dinant while being peaceful at night as it is out of the centre-ville. The breakfast is delicious and excellent value - the coffee is very good also. I can't wait to stay here again!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The host Vincent was so welcoming and helpful as well as very sociable. He paid great attention to detail. Because we were cycling he ensured that we had a lift into town and back for dinner in the evenings which really helped. Breakfast was very good with plenty to eat to start our day.

There was nothing really to fault. The only thing we missed was possibly a chair in our room, but this is no major problem.

The hotel/auberge was spotless, the host, Vincent, was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well equipped. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate and delicious. All in all, highly recommendable for any stay in the area.

Location: jammed between a cliff, and a railway line. Over enthusiastic host... An auberge would suggest a restaurant on site. Unfortunately there is no restaurant and therefore you have to drive for an evening meal. Misleading....

Great welcome drink, pool table. Very clean bedroom. Excellent breakfast. Free parking.

Not much to be said!

Vincent is an excellent host. We soon got the relaxed vibe over the welcome drink. He lent us bikes to pedal (10-15minutes), along the cycle track next to the river, to a restaurant (which he recommended) at Dinant. The Auberge looks over the river, lovely spot. Superb breakfast.
