This place is a MUST STAY! The scenic view, the grandeur of the hotel, the warm welcoming staff and the excellent breakfast spread...everything was beyond expectations! The rooms are grand, the aesthetic decors on spot, and the cleanliness is too notch! If you are travelling to Azerbaijan, you must spend 2 nights here at Shahdag at Pik Palace/Park Chalet. Beautifully located, the Shahdag coaster is at a walking distance! Take a thrilling ride down to the Shahdag Skiing and activities area. You can rent gear from the hotel.

There were little facilities to enjoy in the hotel as we were there for a ski trip where there are no outdoor activities after the sun goes down.

The design and size of the room was really good. The breakfast was exceptional, and the breakfast views were therapeutic.

The room was cold at first but they came quickly and fixed the heater. The plates in the restaurant should be cleaned better.

The hotel was fantastic. Staff are friendly and helpful. Especially Emran (if I remember correctly). The pool was nice, the play area also. There is a bus that takes you to the Zirve hotel where you can ski/snowboard. The breakfast buffet was pretty good.

Room service needs a lot of work. Menu items were not available, something as basic as roasted root vegetables. The first day had to explain a couple of times to the order taker for him to get the order right. The Chicken Tikka is described as boneless but what came was with bones. I asked for the F&B Manager but the person obviously didn’t understand what I was saying

There is a big challenge with language as many staff don’t speak English. Aziza at the reception was great.

Nothing in particular, but I would recommend it more for couples or families with only one child, as the room had medium space compared to Shahdag Resort & Spa, which is more kid-friendly with its larger space.

I had a great stay with my toddler and kid. The accommodation was very elegant, with beautifully designed furniture and a stylish bathroom.

Given that the hotel is primarily visited by skiers, there was less than enough storage space in the room. There was only one cabinet with one drawer where we were struggling to place all the skiing plus everyday clothing. Two small drawers aside the bed were of some help but not too much. Lights scheme in the room was a bit strange, as any light including that in the corridor could only be switched on from next to the bed. Which means that after entering the room you have to walk straight to the bed (bringing all the snow and mud into the room), switch on the light and walk back to take your winter cloths off. Washroom light switch is not that far away but it doesn't give enough light into the corridor. The hotel is located away from any residential area where you can find a grocery, pharmacy or affordable dining. Despite almost all the entertainment you may need is within walking distance, you will be struggling to get any general consumables or more affordable services without using a taxi. Whilst the pricing at the venue is as high as you may expect from a ski resort. There is an option however to ski down the valley and bring things back with a chairlift but this option is neither available nor desirable at any given time.

The room was of good size and well furnished. The staff was friendly and generally helpful, however there was a couple of requests from our side where we had to remind the staff a few times before it was done. Breakfast was fine but with zero variety from one day to another. Location of the hotel is nice, right in the middle of the resort, just you need to note that there is no ski-in/ski-out for this particular hotel. There are no ski lockers and changing rooms either. That is however not a big issue, as the two other neighboring hotels have ski-in/ski-out, lockers, rentals, instructors, etc. So you only have to walk around 100 meters from Park Chalet to one of those hotels, put on your ski equipment there and get right to the slope.

The staff were really welcoming and eager to help in any way they could. The hotel was clean and luxurious with an on-site spa - perfect after skiing! The rooms were spacious and warm and had great views overlooking the ski resort. Excellent location, as was less than a minute’s walk to the ski hire, that then led straight out to the skiing area. Aspen Grill served delicious food and the buffet breakfast had a good variety of foods on offer. Would highly recommend for a great skiing trip!

I requested for connecting room, but during check in, initially our room assignment are 4th floor while my 2 kids are in 2nd floor...We have to insist that it is not possible coz our kids are 10 and 12yrs old... as a solution which I suggested ( the staff wants me to accept that there's nothing they can do) because the hotel was full and I booked in a different name( 1 confirmation ) I said, we are willing to wait for the next available room same floor where we are.

We were on the bed & breakfast package. Unfortunately the breakfast part was not great. All the ingredients were there to offer terrific food but unfortunately the cooked option was often luke warm or had run out and not refilled efficiently enough. The surroundings for breakfast was beautiful just lacking a little organisation. The front of house lady worked extremely hard to keep things on track.

The location was excellent for our ski trip. Very close to the ski hire shop and the slopes. The rooms were beautiful with stunning views of the mountains.
