Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

An absolutely wonderful boutique hotel with fabulous personnel that makes you feel at home, with internal parking lot, confortable rooms with a fully functional Kitchen, a nice pool area and a restaurant that feels like home. You can stay here and take a short drive to the beaches. Absolutely loved this hotel, and their people.

United StatesParking lot was a little full/tight when all cars were parked back at the hotel at night, but we managed!
My friend and I had a wonderful week-long stay in the 2-bedroom apartment at RH Boutique Hotel, and it exceeded our expectations! Beautiful and quiet property (I slept so well all week) with a lovely restaurant on-site where we had breakfast every morning. The staff were so friendly, the apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious, and a great value, and the pool just a couple steps from the apartment was fantastic. The hotel provided beach chairs that we used when we went out exploring various beaches around the island. RH is ideally located - 10 mins from the airport and equidistant drive to the north or south beaches. You definitely need a car here, but we knew that going into it! I would happily stay here again if I return to Aruba. It really was an ideal place for a week-long Aruba getaway, and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed.

United StatesLocation: Not much exists around this hotel. While nice highly recommend having a rental car or other transportation. I would not recommend using Uber as an alternative to this location
Airport to Hotel: The beauty of Aruba is no stop signs/signals which facilitates very efficient travel. From the airport to the hotel location expect about a 20-30 drive Location: Being inland the hotel is. about 15-25 minutes from the beach and tourist areas. Staff: Interactions with the staff were pleasant, everyone spoke English and was very friendly. Hotel: The entrance to the hotel is gated, so alert them before your arrival. The staff will buzz you in. In the small lobby, the check-in was efficient with about 10 mins for the process. The lobby is clean and well organized with water available. Breakfast is included, which is a quaint area just to the right of the lobby. Outdoor seating is available but would recommend sitting inside. The dining hosting area is very pleasant with an acute tropical feel as though wanting to sit with a good cup of coffee. Room: The room was spacious, almost accustomed to a 1 bedroom apartment. The room was inclusive of a very nice kitchen, with cups, pots/pans, a refrigerator, a sink, and a large dining table. The room was modern and well-organized. Walking from the kitchen is the bathroom and bedrooms. The bathroom was modern with tile floors. The shower was nice and warm, it kept its water pressure and temperature. Towels, both hand and dry were organized and stacked, extra toilet paper was available. The bedroom had a large, comfortable bed. The room temperature was stable. Typical entertainment was available with TV, with limited channels. Lighting that could be turned on/off from next to the bed was available. Parking: Gated parking is available for this location. Recommendation: If not concerned with accessing the beach or tourist areas then highly recommend this hotel.

NetherlandsWe had a very nice stay at RH Boutique hotel with 2 adults and 2 kids. We stayed there for one week. The room was very spacious with a living room and 2 bed rooms and all was very clean. All rooms were equipped with their own A/C unit. Parking is possible on the premises behind a gate, thus the car is parked safely. The location is perfect as it is only 5 minutes away from a big supermarket (Super Food) and only 5 minutes from Oranjestad and Eagle Beach. As we had a late flight, they provided us with a late check out, so that we could fully enjoy our last day on Aruba. The employees were very kind and very helpful. Everything was arranged very easily and quickly. We had a great stay and I would definitely recommend to stay at RH Boutique Hotel.

United StatesThe location was a problem. I don’t like driving in Aruba since the changes. So I either had to get a taxi or have family pick me up or drop me off. The stairs were also a bit much for me.
The breakfasts were good and the staff there very friendly. Callie was very helpful and friendly. Always there for whatever you needed.

United StatesThere’s nothing to not like at this property.
I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this property is. It’s exceptionally clean and very quiet. You would think you were the only one there, that’s how quiet it was. The staff at this property are exceptional. From check in to check out. The guys who serves breakfast, Haniel Ramirez, Alfred Cedeno and David Herrerra couldn’t be better at what they do.!! We loved every minute of our stay. Thanks to everyone who made it possible!!

United KingdomPeople say you need a car which I can understand but we actually did tours and only used a taxi up to a maximum of twice a day which we found was similar to the cost of renting a car so didn’t find this was a problem for us. If you go alone though taxi costs may be high for you but if sharing the cost not too bad.
Beautiful new property. Very clean and well maintained. Delightful restaurant with many options on site open from 8-6 weekdays and 8-2 weekends. Staff were lovely . The older lady who works in the kitchen and who was serving in the afternoon alone in the restaurant on Tues 21st May is so friendly and goes out of her way to serve well. The two young guys serving breakfast on Weds 22nd May were also brilliant. I would recommend this property if in Aruba !

United StatesThe kitchen had little sunlight.
What a great (& affordable!) option near Aruba’s best beaches. We stayed here a week, had a wonderful time, and plan to stay here again. The location is an 8-minute drive to Eagle and Palm Beaches, or a 15-minute drive to Arashi Beach farther north (rental car essential)… Aruba is so easy to drive and navigate. And if you prefer to avoid the sand, the charming pool is a great option. Our 7-year old loved it, though most of the time we were the only ones using it. The outdoor dining area is lovely, with plenty of tables and benches, though some of the wood chairs aren’t very comfortable; others have cushions. The cafe is great, with a basic menu and plenty of caffeinated options. Service isn’t rushed so feel free to linger. Onsite parking is convenient and beach towels are provided and changed on cleaning days (not daily; and by the way the cleaning lady is just delightful). The room interiors are clean though basic. Our room (#8) had two queen beds, firm and very comfortable. There wasn’t too much sunlight - just a small kitchen window and a medium-sized window facing the pool area. We used the air conditioning only half the time as the place was naturally cool. The bathroom was modern and clean. Having a stove was essential, as it allowed us to prepare breakfast before leaving and cook dinner at the end of the day; as you probably know, food in Aruba is not cheap. And the hotel is very peaceful. There was one clueless idiot who felt it was necessary to slam some doors at 3am one night - hopefully he never comes back. Otherwise it was quiet. It was also helps to manage expectations. RH isn’t rustic but modern, basic by many standards but likely upscale by many island standards at this price. If you are looking for “luxury”, you’ll need to spend quadruple the amount (or easily more at some of the high end $$$ hotels & villas). There is also a barbecue area out back that needs to be reserved at the front desk but we didn’t use it this time around.
