Amazing apartment! Loved the common spaces. Everything was clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The swimming pools were a highlight, perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. The people who rented the apartment were also fantastic. They were friendly, responsive, and made everything very easy. Highly recommended!

Honestly Bananas is an oasis, a magical slice of heaven on earth. Love the lush gardens, the quiet and enchanting setting and waking up to a view of the pool and enjoying the chirping of birds and the resident parrot, Louise.

Amazing grounds. Owners/stuff are super helpful and accomodating. Everything is very clean- rooms, swimming pools, sitting areas etc..

I can’t mention one thing maybe the television but who is going to aruba to watch TV

Location is perfect 2 minutes walk swimming pool is incredible the room got everything you need for the stay they provide you with towels for the pool and the beach chairs for the beach not mention is oasis palm trees all kind of tropical flowers highly recommended.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Our stay at the Bananas Apartments was exceptional! The hosts were friendly, welcoming and very attentative. The setting with the pools, hot tub and multiple seating areas to relax was a tropical oasis with lush vegetation and plants. Our apartment was clean and had everything we needed to make for a comfortable, peaceful stay. The location was ideal and within walking distance of the ocean where there was a great path for walking every morning. This place is a hidden gem!

Owners are very nice and friendly they take great care of the property. We used it as a place to work for a few days internet is really stable and both of us are able to take work calls throughout the work day.

Everything was Perfect. It is a small property, beautiful plants, landscaping shows their commitment to excellence. We were in and out of the pool several times each day. Perfect combination of privacy and amenities. Very relaxed atmosphere within walking distance to the best beaches. We’ll be returning again and again! Bananas Apartments will not disappoint. Thanks to our hosts.

You could do with a car to get around to the local supermarkets and other restaurants (We didn't have one which was our choice) but it would make life easier, there is a bus service at the end of the road which is good and you can get around the island with a flat fare of 4.5 AWG for each individual trip. My only reason for not giving a rating of 10 is there is no hot water supply to the bathroom or kitchen taps for some reason the shower is electric and very good.

The apartments are large and well equipped the owners live on site and are very friendly and helpful it's a short walk to the nearest beach (15 mins) there are 3 restaurants close by but are quite expensive. The outside area at the apartments is lovely with a brilliant pool lots of beds and chairs with shade if you need it, they have free towels to use around the pool or to take to the beach, the apartments are cleaned daily to a high standard.

Needed a tray in kitchen to carry food to outside table. Also needed something for washing dishes (sponge, detergent). Some instructions in English for stove and microwave.

No hot water in the bathroom or kitchen sinks and the jacuzzi was not heated. Not having an oven or blender in the kitchen.

We liked the location, quiet but still close to everything. We liked the lights and landscaping around the pool. The hosts were friendly and the pool area was beautiful with lots of places to sit.

Quiet and lovely, intimate grounds with few people and no music being blasted at the pool area. It was down to earth and perfect for older folks, like my 86 year old mom, who enjoyed hanging out at the pool and cooking meals in our kitchen. This is NOT a party place.

We needed to each take turns sleeping solo on the pullout couch bed-mattress — because after 2-3 nights on it, each of us experienced some back discomfort. The mattress was not sturdy enough to comfortably sleep adults in the 180 lb -ish weight range. .

Louisa & the other many birds & animals, aloe Vera, gardens, hosts, location, air conditioning, TV with CNN etc, pool/towels, meeting other guests. And the many water activities & hiking options. Closeness of grocery stores. Easy to walk to the beach.

Not a dislike but you'll need a rental car if you want to explore the island and want to shop at the big grocery store called Super Foods. There is free parking right next to the apts. You can walk to the nearby north beaches in 5 minutes.

The apt style living - extra rooms, cooking/full kitchen, patio area, AC bedroom with comfy beds, TV options, quiet, lovely clean pool with many lounge chairs, daily cleaning if you want.
