The bed was ok but not great.

The views were amazing and we loved the location. We saw dolphins from the living room and the balcony. It was clean and had air conditioning.

I liked everything about the property the only thing was that the afternoon sun makes the balcony too hot to sit on but there is air conditioning and fans inside

The property was perfect for our family. Centrally located to main street, wharf and restaurants. AMAZING views. Clean and comfortable. Loved that we had a full kitchen, 2 toilets, laundry. There is a couple of flight of stairs - not a problem for us & is clearly stated in property description. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were a bit small but it suited us & the couch could do with an upgrade. There are two flights of stairs which didn't bother me but, if I had difficulties using stairs, then it would be a struggle.

The location of the property was perfect for us as a couple. Great water views from the Dining room & kitchen. Very clean & fully equipped renovated apartment. The apartment was above a couple of fine restaurants & the shopping strip was right there. Shops, restaurants & café's. All within walking distance, the beach also was within walking distance.

Main bed was pretty basic but comfortable enough. Exhaust fan in bathroom/laundry (next to main bedroom) was on a timer from roughly 7:30am until 10:00pm. A bit of a distraction. Oven was tricky to use but thankfully instructions were available in one of the kitchen drawers. Quite expensive but it is a spectacular location, so the price is understandable.

I'm not sure why the sheets and towels were not supplied - this is the first time I've come across this in booking accommodation. It was unusual, but certainly not a deal breaker. This was well communicated in all correspondence though.

The location of this property was ideal. Sitting on the balcony, taking in the view, watching all the activities on the lake - bliss!! And those sunsets?? Magic!

There were two flights of steps but worth it for the view. Apartment faces west which was very hot in a heatwave, but the aircon took the edge off the heat.

It’s all about the view of the estuary…..fabulous! Close to shops, the beach, the boardwalk, and bridge.

The light well has a step on the middle of the landings and the lights go off quite quickly. A bit tricky. The unit was good for two people but could feel really crowded with more.

It was fun to stay above the shops and next to the lake. The views were excellent and we spent our meals and relaxing time enjoying the birdlife and everything that was happening near the lake. The unit was well designed and the kitchen was great with modern appliances and views - a nice environment to prepare food and choose to eat in! It was a moment to get to shops and restaurants. We went on the Amaroo Cruise which was perfect and took a whole minute to arrive for boarding.

The machine or fan that starts 6am Saturday and Sunday mornings that sounds like a clothes dryer that never ends. The screen door in the main bedroom that banged in the wind all night, meant sleeping past 6am impossible. Overall if you want somewhere you can sleep in, I suggest elsewhere.

The property is really central and close to everything, the balcony overlooking the river is lovely. The apartment has basic features, it was clean and overall it was a pleasant stay but due to the noise in the main bedroom I was very tired after my weekend away.

No mention whilst booking that there are 3 flights of steps. (not good for older people). Also no linen provided which is an extra hire charge on arrival. The black vinyl lounge had been patched up with black gaffa tape and was uncomfortable. The photo on the promotional page for the property shows a table and chairs on the balcony .The table isn’t there, just a small low coffee table. The apartment is above a Chinese restaurant and there is an occasional oily smell drifting up. There is an exhaust fan in the apartment that kicks in at 6.30am and turns off at 10.30pm. Extremely annoying! .
