The bed in one of our two rooms with ensuite was a tad too hard. An air freshener and some hooks in the bathroom would be helpful and a luggage rack to be able to open up a suitcase off the floor.

For a quick overnight stay, we definiley got value for money here. both our rooms had space, a kitchenette and double bed, tv and our own bathroom, heating was superb especially as it rained the whole time we were out. Place was easy to find and quick to check in at.

As an older woman traveling alone, I sometimes felt uncomfortable with the groups of young men hanging around all the common areas. Also despite having a fridge, microwave & kettle, the room had not one single piece of cutlery, plates cups or anything.

Great value for money, less than half the cost of hotels in the area. Very basic accommodation, you get what you pay for. But it has everything you need for a night or two.

Every night guests were smoking dope and drinking in the garden but were not antisocial or threatening.

A nice rambling old place, surprisingly comfortable for the price. Location good, with transport and cafes close by.

Upstairs bathroom drain is right next to your head in bed and people left the cistern running from 2-6am. I fixed a blocked shower drain myself - full of thick hair :( The rest was ok though!

No lift, which made it hard to carry luggage upstairs

I liked how affordable it was to stay here. The private room and bathroom was a great option for us. We stayed here for about a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay

There was only one sink in the boys toilet on the third floor, needed at least 2 wash sink.

I liked that my room had air-conditioning and a small bed side lamp and phone charging station. The accommodation was not that busy hence felt good

Unfortunately, there was a lot of smoking, including cannabis, in front of all the houses and on the roof terrace. It seemed to me that cannabis is legal in Sydney and you can get it right in front of the house without any problem. Alcohol was also flowing in large quantities.  For a night or two, this wouldn't have bothered me much, but after 4 days, I'm glad I don't have to keep pushing my way through a party and past dealers in front of the house every evening to get into the house.  It's a shame, otherwise I really liked the area and the buildings.

AC was leaking and handy man only around on Monday-Friday so did not get fixed during our stay. No support with relocation or anything.

Nice area to be in the weekends (Glebe markets on Saturday). Room was spacious.

There isn’t enough room in the kitchens for the amount of guests cooking. People are literally queuing at dinner time causing the kitchen to be a mess because you can’t clean up properly. Would be amazing if the addressed this or added another kitchen. Too much smoke in the common areas. Was difficult to find somewhere to eat outside without smoking.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable and the room didn't look like it did on the bookings page but we were still happy with what we got. We were excited to see we had a kettle and microwave and we werent expecting - but they didn't come with any mugs or plates or anything.

The location and hostel were nice, not far from the CBD and was well equipped for our needs. They offered a lot of activities and communicated well on the App.
