Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe toilet seat on the upstairs toilet was a little broken and all the time you scratch your bump. No shampoo, soap or conditioner, just a mini soap bar near the sink. Not enough for 6 people. Also missed the foot towel mat.
Astonishing position of accommodation, comfortable bed and wonderful view.

AustraliaThe resort itself is nothing special. Pools are cold so the kids take over the hot tub, food from restaurants is very ordinary, activities are expensive etc The villa was fine, great that bed linen & towels were supplied, however no face washers. If you have loud neighbours, expect to hear them very clearly through the walls. A few extra considerations to the villa could be clean or replace the cushions & update kitchen utensils
The location was great & the villa was comfortable

AustraliaThe view and location made the stay highly enjoyable. My only feedback would be a) A few more basic essentials would be high valuable (ie. one small shampoo sachet for a week for a family of 5, no salt or pepper, 1 wine glass but 5 plastic beer jugs) b) details on how to access of the Micat. There's no signage on the beach and we didn't know there was a north carpark close to the villa. I think perhaps the assumption was that we were on the passenger ferry. c) We were only informed that dolphion feeding could not be included the night before we arrived due to a private villa. Whilst we were still able to watch, this may be a drawcard of some families staying so I feel like they should be aware before booking d) The 3rd bedroom isn't actually a bedroom. Whilst it suited our kids ages perfectly, the bunks in a halll should probably be advertised accordingly. All up, we loved our stay on the island and having our own 4WD made the exploring so wonderful.
Amazing view and ideal location to the north carpark for easy access to private vehicle for exploring the island.

AustraliaThe cleanliness. Arrived with lots of sand still on the floor, spider webs and dust! Cold draft of air comes through doors even when they’re closed. And as a family of four, we really needed an oven a little larger than the microwave oven provided. Noise of neighbours - inside and out.
Loved the location - just amazing to be able to step out the door and be so close to the aqua coloured water! Loved the view. Loved the space, as a family with tall kids we always appreciate space and the kids having their own bedrooms on holidays.

AustraliaIt was advertised as a three bedroom villa. In my world a bedroom has a door that can close and give you privacy and has never been two bunk beds in a hallway . The advertised pool was also missing. The villa being on an island with restricted access one would expect a clear descriptions of the best way to get to the Island. We booked on the Micat ferry only to discover it’s drop off point means a two km walk with all your luggage on the beach. I had to cancel and rebook with difficulty as the Tangalooma Flyer’s booking is advertised as for resort guests and day visitors to the resort .The resort website state that if you are not a resort guest you will not be allowed to have access to restaurants and bars on the resort as the Villa is privately operated and not part of the resort. I sit now with a $250 voucher on the Micat Ferry because they don’t refund when you cancel your reservation
Good access to restaurants and activities

AustraliaThat there was no oven and aircon would be nice upstairs (was very hot). A P & O cruise arrived on one of the days, made the facilities/beach extremely busy. Will avoid booking again when that tour is there.
Amazing location, great family setting - easy with the kids.

AustraliaThere was some construction going on in the villa next door which was early Monday morning - completely understandable, but was a surprise wake-up call! The restaurants in the resort were below average.
The property was beachfront and had an exceptional view. The two balconies were a very nice touch - upstairs for the parents, and downstairs was a great central dining area. The villa was also a very good location and easy access to many parts of the island - although the island itself is quite small. Reasonable coffee at the cafe in the morning.

AustraliaThere was nothing we didn’t like. It was nicely decorated and included basic kitchen items and one set of bathroom towels.
The Villa was very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. It is located a fair distance from the main resort areas and a fair walk to the pools which are for use for everyone staying at the resort, not private swimming pools for the villas. The Villa was beach front and had a beautiful view. Excellent for basic holiday accommodation.

AustraliaUnfortunately the Shower had not been cleaned, there was used soap in the holder and sand and a piece of bark on the floor in the corner. The second day we went to use the Microwave as there is no oven and this also had left over food pieces stuck to the plate and base of the microwave.. We found both of the above very disappointing and far from what you would expect given the cost of the Villa per night. The Villa is showing its age in places making it clear your paying for the location more than the quality of the Stay.
Great position, short walk across the lawn to the beach, resort facilities restaurants etc all close by.

AustraliaWe really enjoyed our stay at this villa. Very neat and clean and really comfortable for a family of 4. Kitchen facilities and equipment were really good and lots of fridge space which is very handy when bringing most of your own food and drinks. Really nice grassed area directly out the front looking straight onto the beach which is beautiful and safe for swimming.
