I don't think it is possible to find any negatives. I highly recommend this accomodation!

I love that the host's hospitality has been top notch since minute one thay we arrived at the front gate. The unit was extremely cosy. Pretty much all of the facilities that you can think of are there for us to do our own cooking. The host was kind enough to answer any questions that we had. I highly recommend this accommodation if you want to experience Wollongong for the first time!

I loved Rowena, she was so friendly and welcoming to myself and my 2 kids. Her property is immaculate and well-appointed, had everything we needed. The bed and sofabed were so comfortable and having a washing machine, modern kitchen and bathroom is amazing when travelling with kids. The location was so close to everything including shops, uni and beaches.

Rowena was a great host she was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The unit was well stocked with everything we could need along with some treats to enjoy. The unit was clean and beds were comfortable. Perfect place to rest with our fur babies while on a road trip.

Very comfortable and very well equipped . Could park close. The snacks were a lovely touch and devoured by adult son.

We were unable to reduce the volume on TV Mould on the bathroom and shower walls and ceiling. Otherwise, it is in pretty clean condition. The sofa bed in the living area is not very comfortable. Some of the vertical curtains parts are missing, and we were unable to close fully for privacy. The bathroom is attached to the bedroom so if more than 2 people or kids, the traffic is through the bedroom.

It’s only minor but: the sofa bed is sagging and needs replacing (two people will sink into the middle). The blinds facing the main house also need replacing.

This is in a great location and is very reasonably priced considering that you get a whole unit.

It was a great stay! The host was so friendly and met us. I was able to stay there with my little pug and use all of the back yard. There was a full kitchen and washing machine and clothes line. I would highly recommend staying here and I will def stay again.

The location was extremely convenient. The host was very lovely and welcoming. I loved meeting her dog. Extremely comfortable bed. The best shower I've ever used. The place was clean and tidy but had so much personality. The board games and books provided were a lot of fun. Very cozy. I'm a mobility aid user and the whole unit was easily accessible. I loved the extras like the popcorn maker. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

Very comfortable stay, value for money, good location. The special touches like the Happy Easter sign on the door and the little extras . Very thoughtful.

My family really enjoyed our stay. Friendly hosts with plenty of space for our dog to run around while we were gone. The place was clean and left treats for us to enjoy. Entertainment options were great for kid programs. Friendly local pets too including a clever cockatoo. I highly recommend you consider visiting Urban Retreat if you are considering staying in the area. Great value in a prime location of Wollongong.

Best welcoming host 💓 doggy treats & fresh muffins for me. Quiet, cool, comfortable accommodation. I didn't get back into my car once as it was an easy walk to everything. Truly delightful stay.

Loved everything

Great location, clean and comfortable accommodation. Lots of little ‘extras’ that my kids loved. The host was so lovely and welcoming. Only 1km from train station which was great. If I’m ever in Wollongong again, I will stay here.

Sofa bed not comfortable for teenage kids, ok for overnight stay. Blinds didn't provide enough privacy for glass sliding doors.

Clean, great overnight accommodation. Modern facilities compact in a granny flat. Welcoming owner with blueberry muffins, chip bags and chocolates. Includes kitchen and kitchenware, washing machine. Comfy for couple or families with small children.
