Great massive parking and was perfect for one night. It is a bit dated and could use some TLC but we only crashed here for one night. Staff are very kind and the location is perfect.

Had trouble getting in because the email with the code had been delivered while we were travelling and could not access until we had internet use. Could not contact anyone by phone at 4pm.

The location is very convenient for our purpose and the off street parking outside the door is great.

There was no cleaning stuff. We had no towel changes or beds made. There was no cleaning. It was a very standard DIY kind of place. There was secured parking, easy access but that is it.

Location was good. Parking was available within the compound. It was like a motel. The facilities are dated but nice and clean. We did not get towels changed despite asking them for it.

Great location and really helpful to have a free parking spot. Very reasonably priced for the area, clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. Really excellent water pressure on the shower! It's fairly basic but totally fine for what I needed. A/C was pretty loud but it worked well.

Location was perfect right near Bondi Beach walked down to catch the bus into Sydney city...having secured gates with parking onsite was massive bonus.the room was very ready at short notice of booking. clean and tidy with kitchen appliances... bathroom, lights in the main area /air-conditioning unit and TV system could do with a renovation but it was great for overnight stay with two kids ...we would return or recommend to others

(....continuation of my previous review:) I'm soooo glad our apartment suite had a short-handle broom & dust pan (found in the lower kitchen cabinet underneath the sink) , to sweep off the excess sand upon returning from the beach. And the staff: Liliana, you are absolutely kind & helpful. I appreciate your quick reply when i informed you of the airline cancelling my flight, hence unable to show up on the check-in day. And providing luggage storage for me & my son on check out day, to enjoy Bondi some more. I enjoyed chatting with you, and Tracy as well! The two of you are very welcoming. And thanks to the housekeeping staff for retreiving the airline pillows that my son & i accidentally left behind. Thank you all for making our first time in Australia a memorable one. And to future customers: Ultimate Apartments is not a hotel. It is an apartment that you can rent short or long term. So do not expect room service. My son & I enjoyed our stay here, and will gladly return here when we travel to Sydney again. p.s. My son & i were here March 12-13 (was supposed to be March 11-13, but the airline cancelled our flight due to unexpected mechanical issues), went on a short cruise, and stayed at Ultimate Apartments again March 16-18. Sunday, March 16, 2026 was the hottest day in March since 149 years ago!! It was 38 degrees Celsius that day. The Bondi Beach ocean was packed full, as expected.

Very safe & secure place, as it is a gated area that requires a code or fob key to enter through before heading to your assigned apartment. There's also a security camera inside the gate entrance for additional safety measures. It is indeed a retro-style apartment. The mosaic tile bathroom definitely represents the 1950's to 1970's vibe. Every feature works 100%. One definite thing to note is the bathroom's jalousie window, which are horizontal slats of glass, angled downwards, set in a frame. (Btw, i had to look up the name of these downward angled slats of glass.) The jalousie window provided the bathroom ventilation (retro version of a bathroom exhaust fan), while maintaining privacy, & blocks water from entering when it rains. Do keep the bathroom door closed though, as a tiny moth can enter through the jalousie window. This didn't bug me too much (no pun intended haha), as this is common during the summer time, when you need to shoo them off pretty often. Another retro vibe: the additional screen door that you can lock from inside, while the main entrance door can remain open to get that breeze in. That brought up memories of my childhood haha (And i'm not THAT old! i'm still in my 40's 🙃) One thing i (and my son) definitely didn't know: In Australia, you need to set the air conditioning level to the lowest number possible (which is a '16') to get that a/c cooling effect!! In North America (at least in my home in Vanouver BC Canada, and when i've travelled to California, Hawaii, and Miami), the a/c unit is set to the highest number possble (e.g. a '72') to get the maximum a/c strength of a cooling effect which i needed. So here i am wondering why the a/c wouldn't go higher than a '30', and wondering why it was still super hot. I found out afterwards upon checking out, to set it at the lowest number/16. Major lesson learned there.

Very run down, not very clean and really loud. People drunk and shouting every night we were there, in the middle of the night. More of a party place than a family friendly place to stay. That said, the price reflects all of this so I suppose we got what we paid for.

Fantastic location, not far from Bondi Beach and close to lots of restaurants. Handy to have cooking facilities in the room.

Needs to be renovated esp the bathroom. , no clean towels. I had to ask for tea towel. For $200 a night i expect a bit more. No lights next to bed. You had to get up to switch it of.

Check in was rubbish, I got there whilst the office was still open and there was no one to speak to, to check in. A lot of young people making noise throughout the day and night. If you’re 30 plus and like your sleep stay somewhere else.

Great location right by Bondi beach, there’s a bus stop right outside and is easy to get around. A nice big apartment.

Not a big deal, but FYI the swimming pool is in the middle of the parking lot which is unappealing/awkward, but you're near Bondi Beach, so why would you ever really use it? It's a budget value stay, so don't expect amenities beyond the basic. I suggest bringing your own shampoo/body wash as they only provide soap.
