Beautiful, quiet apartment which is part of owners house. Spotless, well furnished rental with sufficient breakfast foods (cereals, breads, yogurt, jams, individual packaged snacks, teas and coffee). Location very near Australia Zoo.

There was nothing we disliked!

Loved being surrounded by nature. Kangaroos, kookaburras, and other birds. The bed was very comfortable and it felt like a home away from home. Great location, super close to Australia zoo and centrally located for Glass House mountains and Noosa national park

There was nothing we didn’t like — everything exceeded our expectations.

We loved the peaceful surroundings, the warm hospitality of the hosts, and the beautiful natural setting of the retreat. Waking up to birdsong and watching the sunset in the evening was truly healing. The room was clean, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches — it felt like a second home. It was also our wedding anniversary, and spending it in such a warm and tranquil place made it feel even more special.

The cleanliness was outstanding. The decor was so beautifully designed to the finest details. So comfortable, welcoming and private. Excellent t value for money and the provided breakfast selection was fantastic. The grounds are so well kept. The gardens and mood lighting were captivating.

There was really nothing we could fault

It was immediately noticeable that a lot of time and effort had been made by the owners, Wendy and Steve, to make this retreat as comfortable for their guests as possible. It was everything you would wish for when looking for short stay accommodation and the continental breakfast was beautifully presented. We recommend the Tukawyl Retreat and would stay again.

Exceptional , with some nice extras touches. The hosts were very friendly and gave some good advice for the rest of our trip. Very close to the Steve Irwin Zoo. Highly recommend this place for a short or long stay.

Tukawyl retreat is truly a beautiful and tranquil place. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Wendy was truly gracious and warmly welcomed us upon our arrival. The apartment was truly remarkable, It was indeed a delightful stay, with a personal lounge area that included a dining table and a comfortable lounge. The bedroom was perfect with a comfortable bed for a guaranteed restful night, an ensuite, and a little breakfast preparation area. The breakfast preparation area provided us with a variety of items to prepare a delightful breakfast. We would highly recommend anyone to consider staying here, and we plan on returning in the near future. Australia zoo only a short 7 mins drive from Tukawyl retreat. We would also recommend the Da Marino Italian restraunt pizza and pasta was delicious 😋

We forgot to bring our own pillows and found the pillows were too squishy and soft. The aircon does not stay on so you have to get up during the night to turn back on.

Attention to detail. Friendliness of welcome. Sweet as well as savoury biscuits. A selection of normal and herbal teas. Very nice shower products. Option to BBQ available. Seating inside as well as out. Very quiet and pretty surrounds with lots of kangaroos to keep us company. 5 mins drive to Landsborough. Ample and delicious breakfast .

Just on the area where the fridge is, there’s a bin there, above the bin is a shelf where the extra pillows and blankets are stored, I kept hitting my head on the shelf as it’s too low, not much of a problem, if we can have a sign that says “Mind Your Head “ that be great. But overall, the place was lovely
