The mattress was slightly sunken - not a huge issue at all. Sometimes flipping the mattress occasionally can help but may just be a slightly older one :)

The property is in a quiet, secluded street with beautiful garden trees to make you feel like you’re in a forest. The room was large as well as the bathroom which meant there was plenty of space to move around. I loved the outdoor seated area. It was lovely to sit out there and study. The hosts were so friendly, and really were welcoming and kind. Thank you so much to Anne and Peter :)

The door was difficult to lock sometimes, it took a few minutes for it to actually lock. It was strange but in the end it was safe.

I loved the set out of the space, it had everything I needed and also the small attention to detail really made my stay. Such as the beach bag and towels, make up removers and nice kitchen supplies.

The studio was beautifully set out, it had everything we needed and more… super comfy bed… and awesome shower and stunning surroundings. Extremely clean, a perfect set up. Was so easy to come and go and was so close to everything.

The place is a pure delight! Beautifully situated, it offers a great view and gives one an impression of being in the middle of the rainforest. The studio itself is cosy and equipped with all the amenities. The hosts generously provide extra treats. Highly recommended!

Talk about home away from home! It was the gold standard of what accommodation should be. Every need or want was anticipated and it was absolutely beautifully appointed as well. It was immaculately clean, the decor was chic and modern, and the position was perfect - close to town, but up high with a killer view. The hosts Anne and Peter were warm and welcoming but in no way intrusive, and their lovely cat Cliff was an added bonus. I'm going to be dreaming of this wonderful little oasis for a long time to come.

It would have been better to have somewhere to sit. There was a table and chairs on the deck, maybe adding more of an outdoor loungeroom feel would be good. It will be better once the ceiling fans are installed.

It was quiet, located close to trains and shopping centre. Although walking home from the train would have been an effort as its uphill. Anne was friendly and obliging.

The only thing to note is that the studio, as advertised, is a small space and the "kitchen" area is not really designed for preparing food as there is no sink nor anywhere to sit inside to eat (though outside on the deck, as mentioned, is a lovely place for it, if it isn't raining) - we used the bathroom sink which worked fine but I wouldn't be planning to prepare any elaborate meals here. Also, the room seems to be adjacent to the living room of the main house so TV/conversation was sometimes audible, especially if the middle sliding door wasn't closed.

The studio was super clean with lots of thoughtful touches that indicated to me that the hosts had their guests' comfort at the forefront of their minds. Everything was new as the place had just been renovated and the space was well planned. I especially loved sitting outside on the deck where we were secluded from the street by all the amazing greenery in the garden - I was surrounded by birds chirping away and it was very peaceful. The host was also very friendly and we really enjoyed staying at their studio.
