That is a hard question....nothing

The hosts were exceptional. They knocked themselves out to ensure we were comfortable and we experienced an enjoyable stay. The cleanliness was first rate. There is just so many more great things I could say. Everything you could wish for was catered for. As for the two dogs, they too were adorable. The weekend was a getaway for our birthdays and the hosts put on a night for us to help us celebrate. Highly recommended.

I honestly don't think there was anything I didn't like. I do think the base price is high, even bearing in mind all that is on offer. I would have liked a couple of less plumptious pillows but I didn't tell Terri and Teresa so they didn't have an opportunity to do anything about that.

The Country House is a glorious house set in beautiful countryside well away from the hustle and bustle. You need a car if you want to explore the surrounds but we went to get away from it all. Terri & Teresa are wonderful hosts and fantastic chefs. We had breakfast and dinner on both days; our steaks were cooked to perfection, as was the barramundi on the following evening. We had cheesecake for dessert one evening and a chocolate and caramel based cream and banana tart - both were absolutely delicious. If you're seeking a 5* restaurant, don't bother, have dinner at The Country House because it surpasses any 5* restaurant I've been to. Happy Hour was excellent and fun! Cosmopolitans on our first night and Tequila Sunrises on our second. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh with homemade crumpets, bread or bagels as well as eggs, sausages, bacon, etc. All beautifully presented. The room was very spacious, clean and beautifully appointed with wonderful bedding.

When we arrived for our stay at the Country House at Hunchy, Paul and Karin were both very welcoming. We booked this beautiful homestay, surrounded by a lush rainforest feel, for our first wedding anniversary. Paul and Karin gave us a rundown of the suite and facilities, and then asked us a bit about stay so they could offer some tourist attractions/places we might enjoy. The room was clean, spacious, and perfect for our two night stay. It was close enough to all main attractions, but still gave an isolated feel. There is only one other suite, and we didn't see our neighbours at all during our stay, so it felt very private, which we loved.

Lots of rules in the guest book which include penalty payments, something we are not used to., New owners, learning the ropes, however really nice lady’s and very friendly.

Property, room of definite 5 star standard, was clean and all to the highest standards. Location in the mountains is perfect for relaxation or mountain walks

There was no breakfast, and no effort to provide on request,there is no kitchen so the only alternative is to return to montville, the access is on a very dusty shingle road for a kilometre, the unit is dated, plastic flowers and plants with table cloth to match, no daily change of towels , coffee capsules are charged for , if you are not prepared to provide food at least provide a kitchen and inform future guests!

Hot water in bathroom/shower/Spa pre-set is too low. Regret no double shower or a hot spa experiance, just comfortable but should be much hotter for a longer enjoyment. Needs a proper temperature test. Advised owners and will be looked into I would suggest.

Location and comfort, great lookout and swimming pool area. It's a display home to enjoy away from home. Perfect all around, impressively maintained.
