Old World Charm with amazing eye for detail. They thought of everything. Rooms had everything! Comfy Beds, Bathrobes, two wardrobes to hang clothes, Electric Blankets, lights on each side with easy access switch to turn on, large roomy clean bathrooms, tea, coffee, bikkies, a fridge - and the most beautiful antique filled, with artwork all over in the lounge room and Diningroom as well as a fire place in each. Would highly recommend❤️

The family room's washroom drainage needs repair.

David and David went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Additionally, the ambience of the place is very relaxing and an ideal option for a weekend retreat.

This is an older building but is kept very tidy and is very cozy. David was an excellent host, very accommodating to our needs and providing a general welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. The included breakfast was a nice standard continental with paid options for hot alternatives. The best part of breakfast was the King Parrots being fed right outside the dining room window (ask the host what time they are fed to catch this). David was also very accommodating in cases of eating an earlier breakfast on the mornings we wanted to get up quite early. The rooms were also older but warm enough during cooler evenings and with a bed comfy enough to rest in after a long day of walking. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower. The location is a short drive to Katoomba, walks, lookouts and scenic world so this suited us fine. The final cherry on top was the extra Easter goodies gifted to us over our Easter weekend stay. We left very satisfied (in large part to our host, David).

The owner was so friendly and helpful, and the space was beautifully decorated with an unbelievable collection of paintings, vases and art. Breakfast was a lovely spread as well. Just note that the walls are quite thin.

No good coffee but a small price to pay for a wonderful journey back to a slower time.An amazing experience in misty surrounds filled with birdlife and their songs.

Every tiny detail was just exquisite..The hosts were wonderful..It was a fantastic experience ,a place of tranquillity and calm to enjoy the amazing collection of art works and chat with the hosts.Next time we will definitely stay for more than a night.

Liked everything

Location is between Blackheath and Katoomba - lovely quiet street. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. This is an unusual property as there is a lot of art, ceramics and other artefacts, which add to the ambiance. The room was extremely clean and well equipped with lots of lovely little touches, like biscuits, toiletries etc.

Beautiful stay, close to all the tourist sites and activities, great hosts, amazing book provided for all guests that answers all your questions with a few very helpful suggestions, lovely rooms and bathrooms, amazing art work through out, light breakfast provided with your stay with beautiful birds to watch. Loved it. Will be returning with my Mum asap!
