The TV sound was really bad so we watched stuff on computer but they said they'd bought a new one the day after we left. No milk in the fridge but very expensive coffee.. go figure.

Lovely guest house accommodation with a good ensuite. A gem. Everything was perfect. No sign of the owner though , and it took some time to get his number to get the entry code. You DO need that code!!

We absolutely loved the airflow from the front of the room to the back. But would have loved to have that all night so needed a screen or two on a window. Being woken up by the upstairs neighbour or guest was surprising but was able to fall back asleep because the bed was so cumfy. Side note: the nails on the balcony need to be hammered down my son poked a hole in his foot.

The pictures lived up to the hype for sure! It was like we had our own Romeo and Juliette moment!the shower and bath ensuite was one of the best we have ever stayed in! Fairytail room for a quick getaway!🫶

Location is fantastic, very close to facilities. Ambiance is lovely with comfortable rooms and a spacious balcony. Would have been a fantastic space to spend some time in the sun if the weather hadn't been so inclement.

Weird bathroom situation. Fridge and microwave on room next to the toilet, which didn’t have a proper door.

The bath and shower were great. Towels and linen were comfy and plentiful. Also liked the compendium tips and homemade movie selection.

It’s a very pretty boutique property with a great location and a beautiful garden. The rooms are homely and comfortable with access to balconies and a common area. It’s a walking distance to The Esplanade and the beach.

The tv down stairs was so loud that it kept us awake. Our tv wasn't working so used our iPad but we couldn't hear it over the tv. We messaged the property to ask if it was possible to please ask whoever had their tv up very loud to turn it down as it echoed through the whole place (we didn't call as it was a landline number and didn't want to wake anyone) however was told no one was saying below us. When we replied advising where the noise was coming from (in the private area) did not get a response. We did go downstairs and call out to ask if the tv could please be turned down but they didn't hear us. We don't usually complain but it was so loud and the lack of response from the property once we explained where it was coming from was very disappointing. We saw the tv turned on through the window from the outside but was told no one was staying down there? Just an apology or acknowledgement would have been nice instead of no reply. The curtains were very sheer so didn't keep any light out but suited the decor of the room during the day. The guide of where to eat was handy but I'm not sure if it's ok to tell people the places to avoid or only go here if chef has changed. This is handy for guests but could be damaging for small businesses as we had previously been told to go to some of the places that were in the book that the property advised to avoid
