A walking distance to the Wharf restaurants. Friendly staff. Room and bathroom looked brand new or recently renovated. Bed was comfortable, unless you are a side sleeper. The mattress was a touch on the hard side, but that did not diminished my experience and would stay again 100%.

Our room had a very ugly view, to the roof of the next building.

The location is great and the staff is very friendly. There is a very good coffee machine at the lounge available for all guests during the whole day. And also a laundry room.

Excellent location. Walking distance to everything. Close to airport. The complimentary coffee/tea lounge is fantastic! Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Well stocked with shampoo etc. Overall very impressed. Will stay there again if in Cairns.

Perfect little hotel with a great location downtown. It was a 5 minute walk to the marina, easy to catch those reef tours. Also, less than 15 minute walk to the train station to catch the Kuranda Scenic train. There’s plenty of food options around, would definitely recommend to all if you looking for a non-chain type hotel. The highlight for us was the complimentary water and Nespresso machine available all day in the common area. The room was spacious for our family of 4 and clean, well setup. We liked having accessibility to self-serve towels too, this was handy when needed a foot mat.

No view from our room, but we weren't expecting one.

The room was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped for our two-night stay. The common room with coffee machine, water and extra towels was a nice bonus. The location is in easing walking distance to the reef cruise departure point and there are plenty of restaurants, and a Woolworths supermarket nearby.

We arrived after hours and found the front door not locked, so security a little compromised. Air conditioner was not operating properly but overall pretty good.

Clean room. Small touches throughout hotel. Level one coffee and tea station with biscuits. Great for those nights you can’t sleep and everyone else in your room is. Friendly staff. Smells fresh with aromatherapy as soon as you walk in. After hours check in personalised and seamless. Will definitely be back.
