Everything was great. Nothing as far as we were concerned needed improving.

Our glamping tent was great - ensuite spacious bathroom, a kitchen with everything we needed, outdoor barbecue, tables and chairs on the verandah as well as on the grass in front of our tent, and a delightful fire pit to use in the evening. The view from our tent was sensational. All breakfast needs catered for and a real treat were the electric blankets on our queen size bed.

We loved everything!

We loved absolutely everything! Michelle (the owner) was a delightful host and nothing was too much trouble for her. The tent is a luxurious home away from home. Michelle has thought of everything to make your stay wonderful. Lovely blankets for outside use on chilly nights and mornings, a continental breakfast pack, great mini kitchen and cooking appliances, beautiful bathroom, indoor and outdoor sitting areas, an TV (my husband was so excited to be able to have all this and watch the footy) and seriously… that view!!! The rock changing colour as the sun set was incredible. Do yourself a favour and stay here - it’s just fabulous!

Beautifully made up, clean, cosy and so nice to have some toast or cereal there for the morning. Beautiful view from the back of the tent! Aircon, heated blankets and a gorgeous horse to pat if you like.

The twin beds seemed narrower than usual, but maybe that’s because we’re not used to sleeping in single beds.

Michelle was terrific from managing our booking to helping us load our gear to providing a vegetarian feast for our evening barbecue. The setting is tranquil and a perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine and watch the setting sun. The tents are well equipped and spacious.

Top location, close to Alice but far enough away. Fabulous views from the tent and lovely bonfire set up by Michelle, our host.

Nothing. Squeaky Windmill have thought of everything.

Loved everything. Mum and I arrived having just got off the Ghan train in Alice and picked up our hire car to drive to Uluru. Squeaky Windmill was the perfect place for us to relax before the next leg of our holiday. As soon as we got comfy we sat and had a cuppa on the deck enjoying the amazing view of the ridge and the many native birds. We had ordered supplies for a BBQ dinner which was delicious (salad, steak & sausages). Beds were very comfortable. Definitely got colder overnight but lots of extra throws/blankets and electric blankets on bed. Ample delicious continental breakfast supplies were provided. Shower was also great. Check out at 11am was perfect. I would love to visit again and see more of MacDonnell ranges. We visited Simpson's Gap which was only 10 mins drive away.

Very nice place, confortable, and the owner is really welcoming. I will Come back for my next trip in Alice springs.

The only downside to our stay was that a lot of tiny flies/bugs got through the fly net on the tent, which was quite annoying wen we were trying to go to sleep. Apart from this everything was great!

This was such a beautiful spot, just amazing to sit and watch the birds fly by, look at the ranges and beautiful trees and stargaze at night. The tent was very luxurious and equipped with all we needed including a great bed. The breakfast was basic but all good.

the seclusion and view were an amazing touch. great facilities and far enough out of town to enjoy the full camping experience

Michelle was a great host, greeting us on arrival and taking our bags to the room. Location was very quiet and peaceful while the included breakfast was a great way to start the day. Room and bathroom was clean and well appointed, hard to fault. Thank-you.

The front door zip of our tent was slightly broken and hard to close but not a huge issue at all. Breakfast is basic but coffee delicious :)

The property is beautiful, overlooking gum trees and red rocks. Lots of bird life! Michelle the owner is lovely and made us feel very welcome!
