Great stay at Simala retreat. Simone and Allan have a lovely property. We thoroughly enjoyed the chalet, a little noisy during the day with construction from next door. Overall a relaxing stay with all amenities.

We loved being immersed in nature at Simala. Due to the very clever design with the open plan living spaces and floor to ceiling windows/doors you can l see all nature has to offer from the lounge, bedroom or outdoor undercover areas. The towering eucalyptus tress and native wildlife offer different sounds at different times of the day. There were no other noises. Being from the city this is what I look for when I stay in the south west. The Aparthotel was so well equipped so this meant that we could stay in and not have to tackle the crowds in town!! A massage was also organised for us after our long drive down in the Wellness centre. I also loved the big deep bath overlooking the secluded outdoor hidden garden area. I can't wait to return in winter and light the fire!!! Thank you so much for offering this gorgeous peaceful space to those of us from the city with busy lives.

Was self catering but could have used a few more cups and cutlery. Just a wee negative on an otherwise lovely stay.

V comfortable, beautiful location and v informative hosts emailed us lots of useful info. Thoughtful touches like containers and food wrap available too so making lunches was possible.

It would be better If there can be a day curtain at the main entrance door near the kitchen at Chalet 2. No need for black out blinds but a day curtain. Would love to see more kangaroos ! They were too shy.

The privacy and tranquillity. Felt like we were out of the world, zero traffic noise , zero air pollution. All we got were the positive energy from the woods and the sounds of the leaves and branches when there was winds. The whole apartment was amazingly well maintained and sparkly clean. Truly a charging point for us.

Beautiful villa on a countryside property. Has modern amenities. Nice and quiet. Can stay in and cook or go to Margaret River Town to eat about 15 minutes drive. Great for couples.

We loved the property, it is very quiet, calm and beautiful. I went for a walk around the property on a few occasions, there were rabbits, kookaburras and a lot of butterflies. The accommodation itself was clean, modern, cosy and had all the amenities one could need. My partner and I had a couples massage and a sound bath in their wellness studio which was beautiful as well. Furthermore, it is very close to the Margaret River wine region and the main town with good coffee and food. The owners, Simone and Alan, are lovely and inviting as well. We will definitely be back.

Such a nice property. The chalets are spacious & have everything you need incl kitchen & aircon. Super clean, cannot fault it. Hosts also reached out with a list of recommendations in the area which was super helpful. Would definitely come back

The only fault I found was the incense sticks in the unit, lovely touch but unfortunately, I am sensitive to that sort of stuff. Once moving them outside I had no further problems.

Location was perfect for what we needed with my husband doing a presentation at the winery around the corner. Central to many tourist locations as well including wineries, Margaret River Chocolate, MR Venision yet only 20 minutes out of MR. The surrounds are so peaceful set in the bush and little Otto is such a cutie!

Better quality knives for cooking would be appreciated. The knives were ok, but not great. But that’s really the only constructive criticism I have. Everything else was incredible, as it was last time we came. Will definitely return!

Beautiful location and property. Great amenities. Super helpful and lovely staff who topped up our firewood supply. Fire place roaring whilst surrounded by trees as it rains. What’s not to love?
