Not that it can be helped sometimes, but the neighbouring suite was a little noisy and kept us awake.

Absolutely everything has been thought out. You can clearly see that this is a project from the heart. Time has been spent to create a quality experience, and no corners have been cut to ensure the guest feels comfortable. The suite we stayed in was luxurious, and the space had an amazing energy—clean, fresh, tasteful, comfortable, cosy. Neutral tones enabled the true art piece of the scenery to shine: the exterior—the surroundings of the farmland, the trees, the creek, the sky. It felt as though it came right inside the suite, deliciously capturing the essence of why we were on this trip: to find some peace and calm away from the normal hustle and bustle we yearn to escape more regularly. The thoughtful touches included eggs fresh from the chickens, delicious honey from the bees on the property, and the walks described in the information booklet on the coffee table. The right ambience was created for our trip. We just stayed one night, but without the usual distractions, it feels like we’ve had a proper rest. Thank you.

Maybe just the awkward late night walk to the toilet from the suite but that’s just because I’m nervous to step on creepy crawlies in the dark. Lol

The only quirk was the toilet was in a separate building... just meaning that we needed to accompany the children for night-time visits!

It was the perfect quiet place to relax and enjoy time together as a family. Definitely a very tranquil vibe in the countryside, suited to hikes and surround by nature. The cabin was well furnished and very modern. Daina and Colin were excellent hosts and helped to address our queries, whilst giving us our own space to relax. We enjoyed the BBQ pit for toasted marshmallows. We had an interesting visit to Tyalgum, the nearby town (the pub hotel had a free swimming pool for visitors) - different feel from the coastal parts of Australia that we experienced in the rest of our trip. Selay Valley Estate would be an excellent venue to host a retreat.

I know it was a retreat but you need WiFi to book tourist things like tickets and restaurant reservations and also to see opening times especially in holiday times. We did not need it for TV or streaming . We could not get any connection nearby or on the property. This is especially a problem for foreigners who don’t have Australian phones and contracts.

Everything! Never wanted to leave. So beautiful, restful, amazing facilities, high end and luxurious. The most stunning scenery. Can’t wait to return . Even the children had fun, without WiFi! Who would have thought. Gorgeous animals, lovely walks and rock pools, private.

Amazing property!! We loved our short, relaxing stay here and exploring the property. Our suite was exceptional with a well equipped kitchen and high quality furniture and furnishings. Kids loved the animals, creek and fire pit too.

My wife was not fond of the linen sheets and pillows. Apart from that the stay was great.

The location and view is very serene and relaxing. We enjoyed the fire pit and playing board games with the heater on. It is a very modern build and the kitchen was great. Our hosts were very nice and attended to our needs and even started our fire one night!

Our creek side accomodation had seperate bathroom from living area. Had to walk outside to get to it. Also a guide book would’ve been helpful to know about the area or walks etc available. But nothing major. It was an amazing property and location.

Loved the location and being able to see some animals, have fires and enjoy the creekside with my children. Also no tv!
