How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Could have done with another 2 seater sofa facing the one that was there - then it would have been perfect! Not enough power points - next time I'll bring a power board for the bedrooms.
Superb location, comfortable beds, very tidy and clean. It was cold when we visited but the reverse cycle air-conditioner worked well. Nice hot showers. Limited kitchen facilities - more like a kitchenette but that suited us as we ate out mostly. Plenty of room for cold drinks in the fridge, microwave and hotplate. Excellent/ easy after hours check-in.Nothing fancy in terms of decor etc but who cares when you are getting it this cheap!

Couple of basics to be improved: water wasnt draining from shower and toilet flush button isn't functioning very well.
The price and location are hard to beat. If you're a budget conscious family or group who doesn't mind simple accommodation offerings then these make for a great option

The kitchen can do some simple refresh to make a more pleasant stay.
Great amazing value and have all the basics you need for a family stay. You got 2 rooms and a large living, dining area. Noise was not that bad apart from some occasional loud sirens.

Being an older apartment the windows don’t keep out the busy road noise at all Last time I stayed here I bought a fan with me and that helped Fan I bought this time was a small travel one and helped a little Would recommend earplugs or a fan if the road noise bothers you or if you are a light sleeper
Location is excellent Apartment is clean and tidy with everything we needed We were in apartment no.5 which is excellent tor car watching

Too many DOs and DON'Ts. You have to wash the dishes without amenities. No wi-fi. They put it in the description but still... XXI century. No soundproofing. You hear all the motorcycles and sports cars noise from the street.
Proximity to the beach, grocery, restaurants, bars, and bus to Perth city. The price is very good for this size and location.

There is no service once you book in. We stayed for 6 nights with one tea towel and no change of bath towels

Very basic, as was expected for the price. Lack of sockets in bedrooms.
Was comfortable, clean, as advertised with a wonderful location. Parking right outside. Stones throw to the beach!

Fairly run down, needs some improvements done. Had to put paper in the windows to stop it banging in the wind. Beds are really hard. Had an iron but no ironing board. Shower head needs replacing, unless you like running around trying to get wet!

By over-worn, I mean they could use new counters around the sink. This was the only flaw. There are very few power points. Lastly, there is a great deal of car and motorcycle racing. Noisy.
This is a budget apartment. Well worn to over-worn. However, it was spotless and immaculately cleaned and dusted. Excellent location one block off the beach and restaurant strip. Coles within walking distance. Sunset market once a week.

We couldn't stay longer.
The apartment was comfortable, especially beds, pillows. Easy access to apartment via some steps, secure and all services worked efficiently. Has a secure easy access car park in an elevated position, with lots of spaces available. There are plenty of food places in local area overlooking the beach, our favourite is the Sandbar pub. Communication with manager via email was great.

The area is noisy because of traffic during the day and people and cars roaming the streets at night. The lounge can do with a colourful couch cover and reasonable size carpet. A drying rack will be helpful for the wet beach stuff. A pity the owner of the building, does not do proper maintenance on the outside.
Excellent location regarding beach, reataurants, supermarkets, public transport. Building architecturally very well planned with maximum privacy for each unit. Kitchen well equipped for self catering. Marble counter top perfect height and size for food preparation, as well as sit down meals. Blessed with some basic groceries. Partial sea views with balcony. Quality linen. Clean and tidy - no mould in shower! Air conditioning was a blessing!
