How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Check-in was delayed in the rain and told to wait Room had no toilet shower, and the one that was there i chose not to use due to cleanliness A 50 key deposit was taken and never refunded I had just finished a long cupple days and would of been better sleeping in my vecial May sute some but not for me

Electrical appliances poorly maintained. Insecure parking lot. Only one sheet on bed. Poor TV reception.

We had rubbish under the bed Mouse in bathroom Handle for Rail on the top bunk not properly attaches ie not the right bolts

It's dirty and nothing like the pics advertised you can smell the dust through the vents. Dirty under the beds. Broken and damaged walls and more like a prison cell than a place of comfort. I never been to jail but I experienced this first hand here at this place.

Noise issues and still waiting for a tax invoice after 3 days and 2 requests. They are clearly used to and expecting damage, posted price schedule. Toilet roll holder fell off the wall as soon as touched but left it slightly better

grout along of the floor makes the bathroom look worse than it actually is and ruins beautiful tiles. Also I dropped the remote under the bed and it was so dirty and full of rubbish. Floor is tile so don’t understand why it can’t be swept…?

Bed was awful. Pillows worse. Shower and bathroom was dirty. Tv was smudged and there was no milk for tea/coffee. Door lock did not feel safe. Would not stay again.

I didn’t like the attitude of the receptionist. It was a rude welcoming like she just could not be bothered with dealing with you. The walls were dirty. There was people coming in from the streets with blankets to the back door. The receptionist modified our booking without or knowledge or permission. Blamed booking.com, to which we called and confirmed it wasn’t booking.com that it was the lady at reception. She wouldn’t answer the phone for booking.com to sort it out. So we had to call and give her the phone ourselves. She was very unapologetically rude. Wouldn’t stay there again.
I liked that the property was close to thornlie square.

No plates or knives. No face washers Paper cups. Water just trickled out of the shower very hard to wash hair. And no top sheet on the bed to hot under blanket.

No top sheet on the bed, just a blanket. The Room smelt of smoke. The Outdoor entertainment area was outside the room beside our window.

Bathroom not the cleanest also the other clients were not the most upstanding citizens. Woke up to poilce attending in the morning. Children playing loudly around as well. Just small niggles, microwave had no turn table in it, disposable cups were not clean, limited power points available - used up by TV and microwave etc.
Right beside a cafe and some eateries, the staff were friendly.
