Everything was exceptional. Crisp bed linen, thirsty towels, great water pressure and generous host. Quiet, no road noise. Heated pool allowed for swimming day and night. Pristine condition.

Lovely pool villa with enough space for our family of 4. Villa has anything you need for a comfortable stay. Big nice kitchen with all amenities you need including dishwasher. Our host Brian was so helpful and friendly. He lives next door and he’s very responsive. I highly recommend this lovely place to families and small group of friends.

If it was peak season, the location is good to be out of the busy areas but also might be better to be closer to town so it’s easier to walk to things. We liked being further out. But some may want to be close to main PD.

Good communication, local tips etc, great place to relax after long days out, warm pool, comfortable, kitchen space is great to cook, local area is nice, very close to a few cafes and beach (but not the swimming end). The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Nothing to do with the property, but with the beach at the property. The stretch of the beach is used as a toilet for dogs. When we watched the sunrise, I counted 5 dogs taking a dump and the owners didn’t bother to clean up. And it was only within a period of 30 minutes… I dread to think what happens throughout the day. Watch your step on the beach.

We stayed at the property with my husband and I, my daughter, her husband and 2 children. Brian provided a pull out couch and extra single bed and we did not feel crowded at all. Oasis is perfectly located and the house is very well equipped with everything you need. The outdoor area and pool is large and spacious with beautiful loungers and even pool toys for the kids. We cooked Christmas dinner in the kitchen and used the large bbq which was provided to cook a barbecue on one of the nights. Will definitely stay here again.

Oasis was a perfect size property for us and our daughter. The location was a perfect distance from town. The property was nice and quiet has everything you need and so relaxing. The pool and outdoor area was perfect

Amazing pool, huge living area, nice outdoor dining and lounges, comfortable beds & plenty of space. Perfect for a family getaway & super private. Loved that we had our own garage entry to drive the car in

The only con was you are a fair way from Port Douglas if you want to walk in but if you have a car it’s no problem.

Cheryl and Brian are great hosts and a lovely couple, who make you feel very welcome and are always happy to assist requests or give advice, but also respects ones privacy. Oasis on Nautilus is exactly that. It’s all you need in a tropical escape. It is well looked after, very clean, nicely decorated and is your own quiet, private oasis to escape too. We loved our stay and will be back. Thank you.

Highly recommend staying at this little place that lives up to its name as an Oasis. It is private, secluded, quiet & exceptionally clean. Perfect start to our honeymoon! Cheryl & Brian are fantastic hosts. We will definitely be back again

The Sheraton end of Port Douglas, so car is needed to make it easy. Less great second room for teenage kids - better suited for younger kids. Close to beach, but in Stinger season the safe netted area is at opposite end of beach.

Great tucked away spot that is really private with your own pool. Separate property and not part of any resort. Everything is provided, including kitchen basics which is great. Good ensuite shower room with master bedroom.

The light switches in the house were confusing

The pool was great and the property was in a great location, close to shops and just a short drive into Port Douglas. We were grateful for AC in the living room and each bedroom too.

One of our favourite ever stays. Beautiful , spacious home with a gorgeous private pool area. Kids were in heaven. Cheryl and Brian were lovely hosts and checked we were happy with everything and let us check in early - much appreciated. Spotless, full of thoughtful touches like freezer packs and a thermo bag to borrow for a picnic. Comfy beds, lovely and quiet. We’ve already recommended to a friend! Thanks for having us!

Well thought out property, had everything we needed to prepare meals etc. Good provision of crockery and cutlery, pans and other utensils. Washing machine etc all very useful

Everything was great - cleanliness, location and facilities. The hosts Cheryl and Brian checked in with us to see if we needed anything more. Such good service.

Loved everything about the property. It was incredibly clean & all items needed were provided. Check in & out was a breeze. The hosts were easily available to contact. The outer pool area was fantastic. I’ll be recommending this property to friends & hope to be back for another holiday.
