How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing not to like .. it is spacious, clean and very reasonably priced
Brad the manager was great as was the size of the unit … large lounge/dining area plus a large queen bedroom and a second double room …. Just right for us … hubby is a night owl & I am early to bed. The fire was fantastic too with plenty of free wood supplied … sooo cosy !

Curtains old and a blind in the kitchen and side lamp in the lounge would be good and make it a bit more cosy.
Not too far from town, basic accommodation but clean and had everything we needed. Bed very comfy, great fireplace.

It was winter in Stanthorpe, and we weren't aware, until we checked in, that the only heating was a wood fire - no aircon. It was fortunate that we had experience with wood fires and it stayed on overnight with only a couple of extra logs required during the night. Given that it was the only form of heat, we needed more logs and we were only given three firelighters. The bedroom was large but it was very dark in the evening with only bedside lamps and a tiny ceiling light. There was no blind/curtain on the kitchen window and the whole unit was in need of renovation - for the price!

Air con (heat) wasn't working. They did put in a heater in the room which helped but didn't warm the room as good as air con. But they did do something to help which I appreciated. Water leak in bathroom and shower was hard to get right temperature either boiling or cool. My partner was on crutches so had to be careful when going into bathroom due to leaking water on the floor
Rural landscape, location, roomy, facilities great. Value for money. Only 750m from city centre

The bed was very high and the electric blanket, I didn't turn it on, I left it where it was but it made sleeping uncomfortable.
The surrounding bushland, birds and is peaceful.

Traffic noise from New England Highway.

Nothing really,enjoyed our stay.
We had a conjoined room which was great for our family with two bathrooms and toilets. No lineups ,plenty of comfortable beds to choose from and two tvs . Great to separate oldies from the kids ,but in close contact,with open door. 👍 Although a little dated,was very clean,warm and comfortable. Very quiet location,nice surroundings.Ground level.

Shower pressure lacking.
Basic accommodation in peaceful location, 5 min drive from town. Staff super friendly and extremely helpful. The room was freshly painted, warm, and comfortable. Has microwave, kettle, aircon, and electric blankets. Dogs allowed, lots of land for them to explore. Also has guest laundry and recreation room on site.

The shower took a while for the hot water to come through. Some of the pipes from the rooms around made every loud noises.

The smell of people smoking outside drifted into my room, I realise this is the style of the motel and I was probably the only person that was bothered by it
