The master bed was very uncomfortable with pillows that felt like concrete! Early morning construction noise was a touch annoying, but it can't be helped, would have been nice to be warned of that. Would not let these things deter me from booking this property again though.

The bee hive in the main bedroom followed by rats or possums nesting in the ceiling of the main bedroom. Issue appears to be around a damaged roof.

The deck in the pool area has rotted away rendering the deck unusable. It has been a problem for a while given the faded ‘Danger. Do not cross’ sign. This needs to be urgently fixed. The air conditioners in the 2 ground floor bedrooms require servicing. They rattle in the night waking the room occupants.

This was a well equiped property. Loads of towels (bath and beach). The kitchen had all cooking implements required. The pool was great and the house had a Balinese feel that was very relaxing. Beds and furniture very comfortable. Laundry was also good.

Great villa with amazing view, has a great location and facilities. Very peaceful during the day and can be nosy at nigh as it is located next to the restaurant and main road, but after 11pm you can relax :)

It just needs a refresh from sheets to cushions and the pillows.

The villa is very outdated! It needs a good clean. There is also a lot of construction going on all day everyday across the road and 2 doors up. So very noisy.

Beds were a little uncomfortable - too hard. Kitchen very outdated. Stove settings unreadable. Dishwasher abit of a trick to get going. Insinkerator not working. Paint peeling off ceiling fans. Kitchenware (saucepans, gadgets etc) were at the cheaper end of the scale and not in good condition. These were all small things, but together presented somewhat of a dissapointment.

Currently in the middle of a construction zone with builders & trucks outside from 6am. Had to keep waiting to get car out. Strong smell of diesel fumes early in the morning through out the villa. Not relaxing at all!!

Raised surround for shower in master bedroom was a trip hazard. Sunken showers was also a hazard. No glass windows, no fly screens only having plantation shutters in bedrooms allowed insects in, too much noise from entertainment area in Macrossan St, as well as the daily collection of cans and bottles from restaurant next door at 6.00am. Pool steps fenced off and could not be used properly creating a hazard for older persons and young children almost making in accessible for anyone with slight mobility issues. Rubbish bins had not been put out for collection, mouse droppings behind cabinet in main lounge area.

Loud and late night music from the venues in the main part of town. Awkward access into the pool. Close balconies of adjacent properties where they looked direct into the open air villa and hear every conversation.

Unique decor and open air style of the Villa. Day bed and comfortable outdoor dining on the upstairs deck leading to gorgeous views across the inlet. Abundance of crockery and utensils available in the functional kitchen. Separate main bedroom located on a separate level from other bedrooms for privacy. Location to main part of town, inlet and four mile beach.

We didn’t have water for 3 days due to water shortages (not the fault of the property) and there was limited communication from the property managers. It would have been appreciated if we were checked on at regular intervals and drinking water dropped off.

Floors not clean and stuff under the downstairs bed. Mould on ceilings. Broken clothes line. Dusty TV cabinet. Shower head in downstairs bathroom needs replacing. Missing plug in kitchen sink. Timber venetians dusty. Soap scum stains on bathroom window.

Location was perfect. The view is great. Layout of the villa worked well for us. Air conditioning throughout and fans in outdoor spaces. The pool was very functional with heaps of places to sit and enjoy it.

The bed configuration. The leaking air con in main top bedroom. The ants. The lights that didn’t work. The bush bee hives, one in the pool gate latching area, so when you opened and close the gate they swarmed out of the hive, the other in the post near statue.
