Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaCould do with a refurb. The fixtures and fittings are generally just a bit tired. Was very expensive.
Great facilities and fun things to do for the kids including pool, jacuzzi, arcade and games rooms, cinema and outdoor rainbow slide! Nice buffet breakfast with sensational view.

AustraliaI think it’s disappointing that so many of the resort facilities are kept for (as we were told) “weekends only”. We were told they wouldn’t open the slide because they couldn’t justify having a staff member standing there when it wouldn’t be that busy…we went to see the slide and in the 10 minutes we were there 15 other people came to see the slide hoping to play on it. The hotel was full of families with kids, surely they could make so the slide is open daily for 2 hours. The same happened with the train, disappointing as we were staying purely because we had heard it was such a great place with kids but then felt as though we couldn’t use half of it. The games room is fun but expensive as you have to pay for all the games. Some of the games malfunctioned / took our money buy didn’t work. We reported this to the front desk only to be told the games are managed by a third party and we had to contact them to get a refund.
Good location and nice rooms. Good outdoor space.

very friendly for family, young kids. My 4 and a half-year-old boy learned to ice skate during the stay. And the restaurant handed a gift bag to the children that was very nice.

AustraliaThe rooms are a bit dated but to be expected with an older resort. Still well-maintained
The facilities were all cleaned and well maintained. Plenty to do and only about a 5 minute drive to Leura shops or 10 minutes to Katoomba. Lots of amazing hikes close by. Would definitely recommended

Australia- Some of the lower floor rooms are not as private and relaxing as we hoped for. The room we got, we could hear car noises constantly and window was pretty much facing the road few feet away. But the staff provided us with a better room after raising this which is much appreciated.
+ Great location, it was a bit windy and chilly when we visited but still enjoyed + Staff was extremely friendly and acommodated our requests without hesitation + Rooms are spacious.

UruguayThat the games for the kids were very centered in video games. Also, i would have liked to be informed that I had to make a reservation to have dinner at the main restaurant.
I got very good customer support before arriving. The kids loved it. It would make it even better if there was a kids club I can leave my kids to do an activity and just relax

AustraliaThe accomodation was starting to show their age. So a renovation in the coming years would be necessary. There were lots of cars as expected during the school holiday peak, so the walk to the main resort building from the lowest carpark, 4 and 5, was a slightly longer walk. But the property already advised and warned us beforehand. It would be great if Breakfast was served for longer and not close 10:00am on the dot!
The facilities, both quantity and variety, were fantastic. There were various swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor. There was a games room that provided excellent entertainment for the whole family. For the older family members, there were 3 pool tables, a library, outdoor basketball courts with outdoor gym, indoor gym and a mega slide for the young at heart! The bars and restaurants were great, serving great drinks. Not to mention a retail shop selling literally everything you may have forgotten to bring!

AustraliaFood is pretty overpriced for what you get and the time you wait in busy school holiday periods. Not being able to lower the thermostat below 20° or have any kind of humidity in the rooms dried me out overnight and made for a poor sleeping experience. The property is starting to show its age and many of the hotel’s features weren’t working as advertised. There were a couple of cracks and stains in our sink and bath. Many of the kids activities like the jumping castle didn’t operate for the days we were there even though the weather was fine and not windy or rainy, which disappointed our daughter.
Beautiful location, great golf course, ice skating rink and kids slide were all fun and good value, as was the breakfast buffet. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.

AustraliaThe hotel is run down, not enough facilities for all the families. The game room was a let down, the play areas need maintenance and the rooms were dirty. Breakfast was disappointing not worth the $35 a head. I had to call concerage 2 times to get extra towels and slippers. Rooms need more light and had spider webs on the windows.
Location was great local and close by to everything. Adventure park and gaint slide were fun.
