There was no milk in the fridge to have in tea or coffee. In past experiences, a small bottle of milk and a jug of cold water has been provided upon arrival. There were also no sheets provided for the pull out sofa bed. Apart from that, it was a pleasant experience.

We loved that the location of the cabins was so peaceful!

It’s was all very good. The only thing to be done is to replace the roller blind in the kitchen.

The cabin is cosy and perfect for our short get away. Smooth self check in, awesome fittings great bathroom and kitchen. Beautiful gardens, great parking, so quiet.

The website stated that the restaurant onsite was open for business, it actually closed a year ago, very run down, we sent an email asking if we could book a table and still waiting for a reply today lol.

There were a few hints that the place has passed its heyday e.g. the restaurant etc sitting idle and the curtains might need a clean.

A larger bed would have been more ideal. There is enough space in the room.

The character of the cottage was gorgeous, as is the property itself. And being able to go out into the kitchen garden and pick some tomatoes and basil was special. Grateful for the air conditioning. And swimming spots in the creek! It was entirely what we needed travelling at Christmas - New Year with our dog.

The property is lovely. Just a shame about the restaurant closing. There is nothing else on offer just a place to sleep.

I had seen the property and friends had stayed there a lot before the log cabin we stayed in was very nice. It would’ve been great if they had been in a pod. Coffee machine, and regular breakfast bowls as I took cereal but didn’t find anything to put it in. It was disappointing that we didn’t know that Mavis‘s kitchen is now closed no dinner or breakfast that was one of the main reasons we went, but didn’t see when booking, but it has now closed. I did look on the website but it’s in fine print right at the end of the page there was nobody around no staff no other people a little bit like a ghost town.

The step down from the toilet is really, really dangerous. Should install a sturdy grab rail.

Stayed in the Log Cabin with our dog and we all loved it. Wide open spaces everywhery but nice and private at our cabin.

Kitchen cutlery still had food on it, frying pan was very dirty. Gas cooktop switch not working and one gas tank was empty and we had to turn on another tank. Was hard to get hold of

Beautiful property & gardens really nice, comfy bed, nice bathroom, kitchen wasn’t very clean and we had to wash everything before we could use it, had issues with the gas cooktop and had trouble getting hold of night staff to assist, eventually figured it out ourselves. Was a bit disappointing that we weren’t told that there was roadworks next to the property which caused a lot of noise.

The step up to the indoor composting toilet is dangerously high. Also needs some sort of scoop in the sawdust bin. The height of the step and the fact there is a composting toilet needs to be made clear in the booking information. I suffer from arthritis, we had to build up something to step up on to get to the toilet. Not a safe proposition.

It needs carpet or flooring over the cement downstairs - this was cold and not as inviting upstairs - however it was spacious and the heaters were very warm to make it cosy. There was nowhere to wash clothes.

It was very clean and spacious. The surroundings are tranquil. Very relaxing. The grounds are FANTASTIC - we picked fruit, we wandered the kitchen garden, we walked along the creek and looked over the pond. There is a playground. The kitchen is huge with a large fridge so a great place for a large group to entertain or lounge around in smaller groups.

It was what we needed and we were very happy with the accomodation. However I would love more information about great walks and things to discover in the area. The hosts experience of their area is always welcome.

The location was beautifully secluded surrounded by trees and woken by birdsong.

2 bedrooms disconnected downstairs did not work for our young family. Also ants +++ all throughout the property.

The property was in a beautiful location - just amazing. Important to note! 2 of the 4 bedrooms were downstairs with no internal staircase. This was an issue for my young children as neither us nor them would be able to sleep down there with no way to hear them or be able to access them in the night. After initially not wanting to get the 2 sofa beds made up as the cleaners had finished they did agree to get someone to come and make up the extra beds upstairs. After this initial hiccup it was a fantastic little trip and would do again.

We appreciated the initial text when we were flooded in however were disappointed that there was no further contact that evening to further check or food supply. I would also suggest that the emergency food cupboard should be checked before every new check in!

The location beautiful was secluded and quiet and tranquil. We loved that we were in the middle of the bush and could not see or hear any neighbors. The cabin was very spacious and comfortable.
