I couldn't get the fire to stay alight. I could have got help from the hosts but chose not to a I wasn't dressed.

Thoughtfulness. I was sent an early message with dinner recommendations so that we wouldn't miss out on a Friday night. It was a great dinner. The house was beautifully charming and the bathroom was gorgeously new. The bed was very cosy.

We had a lovely stay in Stanley! The room was super comfy and had everything we needed. The location was perfect — just a short walk to the main street and the Nut. Our host was really friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting the area!

Our host Amanda was absolutely lovely and her attention to detail within the house, and with breakfast, was very much appreciated. Our room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed and electric blanket for those cold nights, a large shower with good hot water pressure and underfloor heating throughout the bathroom. We also had our own outdoor access to the balcony, which was really nice and proved quite useful. We would definitely recommend the Mariner Rose to anyone looking for a quiet, yet beautiful, cosy stay, away from the main street of Stanley.

Whole experience was amazing. Beautiful room, fabulous bathroom with the mod cons and perfect hospitality. They even left us homemade cake in our room. Great location with walking distance to everything. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

This B&B just oozes charm. Amanda and her family were warm and welcoming and did everything to make us feel at home. Our room had all the creature comforts of home. The bed was very, very comfortable, the shower was amazing. Only there for 1 night but could have easily lost myself there for a week.

Clean comfortable quiet, etc etc etc first to admit I am a very difficult person to impress,I set the bar high even for myself and yet the Mariner Rose was perfect to every last possible detail. Would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful B&B.

This B&B only has two rooms. Our friend was in the other room, so we had the property to ourselves. It was very spacious and comfortable and we were extremely well looked after by our hostess. The location is perfect for walking around Stanley and for longer sightseeing trips by car.
