How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

One of the two beds had a worn mattress - very soft and sagging in the middle. The shower was over the bath with a shower curtain. One evening there was only hot water coming out of the taps at the sink. One bath towel was freshly laundered but had stains.
Everything was functional, just a bit dated and tired.

The staff were unreachable, I called the reception about 3 seperate times at varying times (which is said to be 24/7) and all 3 times I was waiting for 15+ minutes of calling until I gave up. Multiple times I went down to the reception desk to find no one there until I called out and they emerged from the office room. They also charged me 2 days of parking and over charged me for breakfast which was annoying.
The room itself was lovely, the breakfast was great, the jacuzzi in the room was awesome.

The value for money because of the origin football was disappointing. Value was better on a normal day.
The location is spot on for being central to Parramatta. The breakfast was great.

The wifi was slow and had trouble connecting. The walls are paper thin and was woken at 7am every morning with people talking in the hallway.
bed was comfortable and the spa was great. Staff are lovely and close to shops, trains so a handy location I woud reccomend again.

The sound from other rooms doors opening and closing and people in the hallway really penetrates so it’s quite noisy

Location, convenience and price. Gym and outdoor pool spa, cool in winter. Staff were friendly. Car parking was tight but OK convenience to lifts etc.

There was no toiletries/robes/slippers and no room service. The bottle of body moisturiser in the bathroom was empty

My partner wok up with what looked like little bites/lumps on her neck back legs, not fleas but maybe mites she woke up very itchy & lumps very noticeable

The tv system took us so long to try work it out we just gave up and watched normal tv shows which was great

On arrival Discovering Parramatta with my heavy luggage trying to locate the building. Id have appreciated some quick tips when I checked in. Any other first time visitors Id suggest investing in studying a map before jumping off the train! I wish Id had known this upon arriving...eg how to get to Westfield through the underpass - how to get to the office through the underpass...I was coming via the train and spent a great deal of time trying to work out how to find the building - In hindsight, google maps was suggesting walking through the underpass so I was walking around the streets getting quite confused.
The location (once I found it and learnt the best ways to navigate walking Parramatta - as not a local to the area) was perfect. After a few days I found there were quite a few shortcuts to get around Parramatta _The bed was comfortable and Minh was very accomodating with a number of questions I had. Purchasing breakfast the night before was better value but there are plenty of other options in the area. Great Spot.
