The first room (507) needs renovations. Apparently, rooms are privately owned.

Staff listened to our concerns about needing a walk-in shower and upgraded our room.

Poor condition and very old worn furniture.

Shower was great Furniture was very scrappy. Given the condition and rates of nearby hotels, the rooms should have been in better condition for the nightly rate. I stay in Cairns a lot for business. Good if you want a kitchen

Pool and spa freezing due to position, needs some sort of heating. When we arrived, coffee table had not been wiped down, bath mat over edge of bath wet. The linen was appalling, towels were threadbare, got more off front desk same condition, beach towels the same. The staff alerted to that there were issues with the provider but that should not affect the client, 5 star motel and quality was appalling.

We got a room with old style Furniture A little impractical In previous years. We got the more modern Decor We don’t need a 3 seater couch We just need room for our Suitcases & Bench space

The room was ok. Clean There were no hand towels or face Cloths in the bathroom. Curtains had big brown stains !!! This is considered 4 star . Staff were not efficient at the desk. $20 for late checkout for an additional hour ..never paid for a late checkout before. The corridors in the building leading up to the rooms looked tired. Ceilings were in part new other parts older znd all marked.

We wanted cooking facilities and when we were cooking the smoke alarm was tripped because there was no extractor fan. The fire brigade was called fortunately no fee was incurred.

Location was fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff were very cheery and always greeted us with a cheery 'Good Morning'and gave us fresh towels.

The pool was predominantly in the shade so the water was cold. it was hardly used during winter

The location was great but didn't like the fact that the view from balcony was at other buildings and other units.

Staff were so friendly and helpful when needed but left you alone otherwise which was great.

Only issue was the noise from the garbage man on bin day across the street at 5am otherwise other mornings were good and if you don't get a north facing unit you probably won't hear it.

Great location walk to everything! Friendly staff and clean and tidy rooms. Close to the night markets, food venues and restaurants and cafes as well as the night life for pubs and the casino! Rooms are generous sizes and while the building isn't the newest its very clean and tidy.

WiFi is not included in the price. For the amount we paid per night it was a shock and disappointment. some things in the kitchen were not cleaned , toaster had not been cleaned in ages. Chairs whilst old and sturdy need a good steam clean . mattress needed replacement, many dips when you sleep on it.
